STORY:
I found No Game No Life to be a very interesting story that is both laid back and serious at the same time (in a funny way). As you may know, the 2 main protagonists,Sora and Shiro, are summoned to to a alternative world, by the God of games(play), Tet. In this world war and fighting is banned and everything is to be resolved by games. I believe this is where the real meat of the show is. The games are exaggerated and blown up to such a level that every minute through you are mentally saying "is this actually happening". The writing for these games are absolutely genius. While people may complain, as they always do, about how there is flaws in these games, it is precisely these flaws that create the opportunities to make the games so unbelievable (in a good way). Your in a game world, where ally you can do is play games, im sure people can come up with wacky and illogical solutions to a problem, especially Sora ans Shiro who have played games their entire life. Also despite what other people say about the plot, I believe the games itself are a major part of the plot. If you understand what i means you will see the games itself are the story. The only problem I faced with the story is they try to do too much at the same time. playfulness, adventure, humor, fan service etc. I would say stick with one or 2 main categories and develop those.

ART:
The art fits the characters and the story perfectly. The bright vivid pinks along with the illogical bright warm colors continuously remind you this is a game world, or this itself is a game if you want to think about it more deeply. Part of the reason why I think the protagonists can do crazy stuff is because this feels like a game, a open free world where you can do almost anything. The art gives you that feeling and atmosphere. I also like how the characters curves, vectors and shading felt more 2D than 3D. I also like how they did not take the characters to super high definition despite the technology. Now imagine of the character quality looked similar to strike the blood or some other high Def anime. The art style reminded me of log Horizon, which i really, really prefer in this sort of anime.

CHARACTERS:
by far the characters are the weakest. So far the anime has mainly shown static characters. Meaning Characters that do not change. It is still early in the anime so this could change. We were introduced to Shiro and Sora as super good (god-like) at game, with high intelligence and logic deduction capabilities and that has not changed through out the anime.Now static does not necessitate bad. Mikasa from Attack on Titan is a static character yet is a complete badass. Both of them are also bad with crowds, hence them being NEETS. I dont want to spoil, but there were problems with the core of the characters during the speech and ill leave it at that. One of the characters is truly a dumb dumb and made for fan service. Now this may a be both a good thing and a bad thing. Now Sora and Shiro have taken advantage of this a few times but in the end i feel that character will just get boring after a while (unless he/she changes).

ENJOYMENT
I love it. I find a good show, not when it has a good story or character or music (though those are great to have). A good anime is one that engages me to a point that i start to forget about the negatives. No show will be perfect but great shows hide their imperfection. PS i did not steal this quote, i came up with it on the spot.
Enjoyment: 10/10
OVERALL: between 9.4 & 9.6 /10
