I'll start off by saying this has to be one of the best anime I've ever seen.

I love this anime because it doesn't take itself too seriously. I love deep and dark plots, characters that take a whole season to understand, unique plot twists, thought provoking morals ... Kill la Kill is not one of those. If you want, you can look into this anime and disect it like an English college proffessor. Or, you can just sit and watch, because this anime isn't going to force itself down your throat. It exists purely to entertain, and excells.

Story (8): Starts simply enough, Ryuko is trying to avenge her father's death. Then it gets weird, with a military trained high school, carniverous clothing, and world domination. The entire show itself seems like a spoof of its genre, much like Gurren Lagann.

Art (10): This art is beautiful, and fantastic to look at. I have to watch this in dub when it's released, just so I can watch the animations; reading captions distracts from the brilliant fight scenes. This anime is almost always moving, and the scenes are animated fluidly and painstakingly.

Sound (10): I cannot stop listening to this soundtrack. Same composer as Attack on Titan!!

Character: (10): Characters range from lovable, laughable, and loathable. Many are parodies of anime cliches, but never fail to entertain. It even covers the two extremes of villains: The villain you grudgingly grow to love, and the villain you downright hate.

Overall (10): Cannot reccomend this anime enough.
