There I was browsing through the anime/manga recommendations thread and I saw somebody asking for exactly what I was looking for: a romantic comedy. For some reason somebody had suggested School Days and luckily the name had caught my eye in a few other threads as well so I decided to go with this one.
After the first two episodes I was hooked - the visuals weren't that bad, I liked the characters and decided to keep watching. It was all cool up until the 6th episode when I started hating the MC and started having my doubts about what I had gotten myself into. But it was too late and I just had to see how it all would end up. Never in a million years could I have foreseen the things that happened next. I mean I've seen plot twists but what happened here was way beyond that. I would write more but since most people will be reading reviews before they watch it, I'll refrain from spoiling anything.
I gave the story part a 9 because I have never before been so surprised about an anime before, may it be positive or negative. The closest to the emotions I felt after finishing it would be the ones from watching Nana.
All in all it wasn't that bad but I think that it changing to drastically so suddenly was a bit too much.
