Where do I begin?
This has been the anime that has stood out the most
out of all the anime I've seen so far. If I had to use one word to describe it,
it would be "masterpiece". I tried watching it about a year before giving it
a second try. The first time I endured about the first 5 minutes of it and
dropped it. This is a great example of the first impressions not always
being the right thing to judge something over because in this case they
were very misleading.

First off - WOW.
A friend of mine suggested that I'd watch this one. First time he called it GTO so I was paranoid as I usually am because I'm very picky when it comes to anime. But when I looked it up and read "Great Teacher Onizuke" I just had a feeling that it has to be good. Another one of those animes that I came across and made me get hooked after seeing just one episode. I suggest you do not underestimate or skip it just because of it's year. I enjoyed every single episode and could relate to the MC at some level since I too am thinking of quitting College and traveling around instead and working.
Gotta say, it was one of the funniest animes I've yet come across. All those times he raced, may it be by bike or swimming, it was epic to watch him yell out "penkyoshimasu". There was a little sexiness involved as ...

There I was browsing through the anime/manga recommendations thread and I saw somebody asking for exactly what I was looking for: a romantic comedy. For some reason somebody had suggested School Days and luckily the name had caught my eye in a few other threads as well so I decided to go with this one. After watching the first episode, I knew I would love it and that it had potential. I really loved how mature the content was and I really found similarities between some of the characters and myself. Usually I would watch 2-3 episodes a day and then kind of try and analyze what I had just seen.
