This was a really great coming of age movie about young love. As I write this review, I remember what life was like for me when I was that age and, just like the kids in the movie, how I'd dream about the future. This movie took me back to my childhood and allowed me to remember those feelings of hope and whimsy I experienced as a child. Also, well although, the boy and girl in this movie don't have a Romeo & Juliet kind of love, I don't think they're supposed to. The characters in this movie aren't at war or having some great adventure, they're just ordinary kids and that's this movie's best quality. The filmmakers put themselves into the mindset of a child and made their characters behave like real kids who were in love would behave at that age, this isn't Pokemon where the anime takes place in some magical world and we see the kid's parents once at the beginning and almost never again, this movie is about as similar to real life as you can get. However, the reason I gave this movie only a 7/10 was because this is a movie for little kids; it's simple, colorful, and very relatable for kids. I usually watch animes like "Ghost in the Shell" and "Full Metal Alchemist" so I assume you understand me.

One last thing I'd like to say is, I love the setting of this movie! It looks like it was all painted by hand using water colors and it's just breath taking!
