Would you trade your soul to fulfil your deepest desires? Just one of the main questions saw on this anime... Ga-Rei: Zero is about friendship, love, betrayal and hate... Is it right to hide who we really are from the ones we love? To protect them? Important questions like those are answered in here...

Two first episodes got me hooked by showing an advanced stage of its story. I want to know what came earlier, what happened, and they showed it... Nice way to keep my attention, as story goes on and reveals everything.

So Kagura and Yomi are both from exorcist families and, upon meeting each other, a strong relationship is born. It seemed like this bound would last forever, but hate is able to corrupt our souls, as we let our darkest feelings take control... But, as many say, "love always wins", on a different way this time...

Kagura was an innocent girl, dragged to this demon fighting stuff because of her ancestrals, but Yomi changes everything, as she considers Kagura as her little sister. Close to the end, a final test begins, proving that compassion may get you killed, even if your opponent was someone once dear to you...

Battle scenes were very well made and art was... Mature... It's pretty violent, but I like that... Characters were nicely developed and the ending was great! And there's a gunblade on it! It's a katana, but works the same way as Squall's one! A surprise and a really impressive choice, points for that!

And why should watch this one? Obviously that this anime is one of those underrated ones, that only a few people outside Japan get to know... I had my reasons, none related to the plot tough... But I enjoyed it, surely an amazing one and really worthy, as we can learn a lot from it... Give it a shot, you won't regret it!
