This review is mostly spoiler free!

When I finished Shinsekai Yori, I stared the screen for a long time- i was still mesmerizing this wonderful series. I can't believe this series isn't as popular as Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica or anything else.
In my opinion, 25 episodes were too short- this show contains just too much themes. Discrimination, sexuality, universality of humans ethics, ... But I guess it's because of that why every episode is very compact and full.
But as a matter of fact, for the first 3 episodes I had a hard time; I couldn't understand what they were trying to tell me. But after episode 4, I saw myself drawn completely to the series- I even stayed up until 6 am to finish it.

Story (10)
I've never seen anything like it; amazingly original, it allowed me to think over a lot of thing of out actual society. An anime of this depth is quite rare. The sentence I still can't forget is : "Isn't it a mistake to judge queerats (sort of beasts ; they are the slaves of humans in the series) through the lens of human ethics? "
And every element of the show is connected; nothing is useless. Plus the more episodes you watch, the more you're able to see the big picture, what really is happening.
There were a couple of plot twists which made Shinsekai Yori very interesting.
Art (9)
Very good. I especially enjoyed what the characters were wearing; a beautiful mix of japanese traditional clothes and some futuristic touch on it. The boys were drawn very attractively, too.

Sound (10)
If I could, I would've given it a 100! Amazing. The two endings songs were wonderful! Normally I skip the EDs but this time I listened to them until the end. The background music made me wordless too: it gave the show the right ambiance, the right feel.
The voice actors were all terrific, too.

Character (10)
Each character plays a great role, and each character makes us be attached to them.

Enjoyment (10)
The pace is just right, not too slow and not too fast. They did a great job creating a mysterious and a "fantasy" feeling ambiance. (((((SPOILER)))) Plus, this is a personal opinion, but I loved the fact that Yuki and Satoru were together at the end- I was hoping for that from the beginning.

Overall (10)
I would love, love, love a sequel, even though I'm quite aware that's not happening, haha.
