The first time I watched this series, I dropped in the middle of the first episode, because I couldn't stand Yui's character. But months later when I gave it another shot, I loved K-On, it is now even one of my favorite anime. I no longer found Yui irritating, but rather so cute. I would never know why.

When I finished Shinsekai Yori, I stared the screen for a long time- i was still mesmerizing this wonderful series. I can't believe this series isn't as popular as Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica or anything else. In my opinion, 25 episodes were too short- this show contains just too much themes. Discrimination, sexuality, universality of humans ethics, ... But I guess it's because of that why every episode is very compact and full. But as a matter of fact, for the first 3 episodes I had a hard time; I couldn't understand what they were trying to tell me. But after episode ... |
