Both female lead characters must learn how to become better voice actresses.
Both are about voice actors; REC is a 15-minute per episode vignette about chance and attraction between a buisnessman and a seiyu, and Koe de Oshigoto is an OVA series about a sixteen year old girl learning to voice over eroges.
Both have a nice, uncharacteristically (for the medium) low-key love element as well.

Both are FANTASTIC Voice acting anime !!! In addition, the girl in both anime voices an eroge part. Rec is more romance while Koe is more ecchi, BOTH ARE AWESOME RECOMMEND ^^
