it's the same feeling as watching k-on
some girls and slice of life calming and comedy with some nice moments and nice characters
i recommend it if you finished watching k-on and looking for something with the same feeling it gives except that it's not about music
really funny and wholesome slice of life that follows members of a school club being silly and doing club activities together and it involves sweets!
Yuru Camp is basically K-On!, nine years later. Yes, you won't be seeing Gibson, and Fender here, but you'll still be seeing moe things, and get the CGDCT-feel you're always looking for.
Right off the bat, Nadeshiko is pretty much Yui in long, pink hair: klutzy, ditzy, airheadynamic moe. Then you'll still get four additional main CGDCT-shoujos, and all of them goes on about their everyday slice-of-moe-life.
And oh, Aki Toyosaki is also here of, as well.
So if you want to turn your heart as fluffy as marshmallow this 2018, look no further.

Both show got the same genre which is comedy, but "K-ON!" is about light music, while on the other hand "Yuru Camp" is about camping. Both of the show main characters are only girls and both of the show give a bit of education about camping if you're watching Yuru Camp and band if you're watching K-ON!
But if you're watching between one of these, i'm sure you will like the other one too, both of them are definetly a great anime ^^

These two shows master the best elements of the Slice of Life. K-On is about cute girls doing music things while Yuru Camp is about cute girls doing Camping things. Yuru Camp is a show I would watch for a relaxing time while K-on is more about self-discovery ironically. Either anime are good introductions into Slice of Life and are great works in this anime genre.

If you want more CGDCT anime, then K-On is perfect. A small group of girls in a club, doing many activities together. K-On has more serious moments than Yuru Camp, but it is still a very good anime to watch. Yuru Camp is more relaxing to watch, so maybe switching between an ep of both is a suggestion if you wanna experience two different CGDCT animes!
Both anime offer the “warm blanket” feeling: no worries, just vibes and cute girls doing cute things. One is centered on a group of high school girls in the light music club and the other is about high school girls in the outdoor club. Each anime features a character that is a complete beginner in their hobby so you get to learn alongside them.

As a huge fan of "Slice-of-Life" series, I can guarantee you that you will love these series , if you're looking for something simple, relaxing & pleasant.
Both represent a happy group of girls having fun each other and promoting respect and love.
Cute girls doing cute things while not having a care in the world.
These shows are fun and cute slice of life shows with an all female main cast, a very relaxed atmosphere and most of all, THEY DON'T REALLY DO MUCH!!!
Both are shows that are easy to digest, no overly complicated story, no sci-fi elements, just pure slice of life and cute moe girls!
You can lay back, and watch them a cup of tea and some cake!
K-On is a slice of life about cute girls doing cute things while being in a music club, living their high school years to the fullest. Yuru Camp is very similar in the sense that it's a slice of life about cute girls doing cute things while going out camping instead. It's got a very nice, cozy, and chill mood that any K-on fan would easily be able to get into. I think the appeal of Yuru Camp is that camping is a hobby that's not very talked about in anime, but they manage to make the hobby pretty interesting by showing the many aspects

Both shows are about cute anime girls doing cute and wholesome things. Both deal with club matters. The only difference being that Yuru Camp revolves mostly around their club and has much more side notes (which are very helpful tips btw if you go camping) than K-on which just revolves around this group of girls and what they do on their daily lives.
Two very nice animes, calm and good to pass the time. even laughs

Both are extremely happy and wholesome anime that made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Both are about a group of girls that get together and do activities together inside and outside of school.

If you want another very light-hearted show to unwind to like K-ON, Yuru Camp offers a same vibe but instead of music, it's about camping and appreciating beautiful sceneries. Main characters also have similar chemistry among themselves.
Yuru Camp is K-On's intoverted little sibling. Both shows are about a group of girls whose friendship comes to fruition due to something they like and do in after-school clubs. Even the main characters are both ditzy energetic girls who put a lot of passion into their newfound hobby. You will find endearing, relatable and funny moments in both of them.

In both shows thers 5 cute girls playing together and having fun in school, they got cute loveable character. The difference is K-ON plays music and create song while Yuru Camp is about girls going camping together.
I really recommend this anime if you love CGDCT (Cute Girls Doing Cute Things)
Slice of life, Relaxing, Cute girls doing to cute things.
Replace the Music and the Tea&Pastries in K-On! with Camping and Marshmallows&barbecues and there you have it, Yuru camp.
