(Mini Review)
For a comedy that's largely based on shock value, this show is quite boring. Plenty of fanservice, eccentric characters and a plot that allows for some creative comedic possibilities are all jumbled together in hopes of cohesion but feel far too disjointed to keep a decent pace. The strongest point for this show was its eccentric cast but it was very hit or miss and tended use them to sequel bait for their next season.

(Mini Review) A standalone conventional drama that prevails in it's agenda. The plot is magnificently executed by it's characters. Despite the foreign cultural milieu, the events are easily relatable. The characters are quixotic which causes the pacing to falter. It's strong point was in the character's latent emotions. While the ending does feel rushed, the road to it great.

How could they ruin the amazingly heart-gripping story that is Clannad with this atrocity? Well they didn't.
The movie version of Clannad is an original take on the visual novel. The movie is actually not that bad when you judge it on its own merits. The series undoubtedly one-ups everything that movies does right and corrects everything it does wrong.
The story moves quickly through Nagisa's route from both seasons and at intervals does get a bit complex to follow but nothing real serious to complain about.
The art and animation are splendid. The character's emotions are well portrayed and the soundtrack plays like a dream to
...
the mood.
The characters of the movie version are probably the movie version's biggest flaw. While the characters are well done the seem to do certain actions without really explaining why.
On its own, the movie version of Clannad is a good story with good characters but with its share of flaws makes it hard to enjoy completely and if watched while comparing it to the series then that enjoyment is practically taken away.

I used to believe that anime with action were only for a certain crowd but this series, (and FMP, but that's not relevant) made believe that action doesn't take away from the story or from the characters.
The story is a bit complicated but easily followed. The best part of the story is the multiple characters with distinct personalities and intentions for wanting the Holy Grail. The series would have probably been better if not for a filler episode that I'm sure connects to Fate/stay night(just a wild guess) but doesn't really add anything to these set of episodes.
The art and animation of Fate/zero is...
...
umm... a visual o***sm. The design of the character is amazings, the animations however suffer from inconsistencies on an average of 2.5 per episode which isn't that terrible considering how gorgeous the scenery and the fluidity of the the motions are. Every scenery feels incredibly life-like and inertia is nonexistent. The fight scenes are amazingly fluid and the the sound only increases how much the series draws its viewer in.
"Oath Sign" by LiSa is perhaps the pinnacle of what an anime opening should be. The opening song is amazing on it's own right. The song helps create the mood for Fate/Zero by being soft but fast paced and progresses like a classic rock song. The soundtrack is beautifully done. The mood each scene is captured perfectly by the track playing and in some cases the silence plays an equal role in setting the mood. The emotion of the characters is drawn out from the wonderful performance of their corresponding VA.
The characters of Fate/Zero are intricate as they are abundant. I don''t think much can be said without giving away parts of the plot. What can be said is that the characters drive a chaotic war into having a purpose.
My enjoyment of the series was substantial enough to make Rider, Kirei, and Saber some of my most memorable characters in any media form. However, I have not seen Fate/stay night and that could play a role in your enjoyment. Without having seen F/SN I can say that on it's own Fate/Zero is an amazing series with amazing art, sound, and everything that makes a good story.

( Guitar Riff ) K-on!
As a quick description of the show is perfection un-perfected. Shows exactly how important progression is to a pretty stagnant genre. In the moments where the show shines it shines bright but in its slow areas it noticeable.
Story: 4
If such a thing as a "slow start" exists, it is present in the 1st season of K-on. Apart from the fact that the last main character isn't introduced until the sixth episode, there is very little progression until Azusa shows up.
Art: 5
A little disappointing to say the least. Inconsistencies in facial expressions and overall medium quality of the show make for a
...
forgettable setting and atmosphere.
Sound: 9
Cagayake Girls, My love is a Stapler, Fuwa Fuwa Time, and Don't Say Lazy; They are some of the best anime songs ever. Cagayake Girls is an okay introduction that is a bit too energetic for the show. Don't Say Lazy on the hand is a better closer as it slower and feels a bit powerful witch is suited for Mio who is the character who sings it. The OST fits like a glove in almost every scene as it captures the mood of the scene. (on a separate note: if you can the best song that is from the fictional band is calles "Happy!? Sorry!" but does not show up on the show)
Character: 9
The lifeblood of any slice of life story is its characters and K-on! does not disappointment. Although a little cliche with adding an energetic character(Ritsu) and a tsundere(Mio), K-on does well to make the interactions between them as realistic as they are entertaining. Each character is easily likable for certain perks that the show doesn't completely overexpose.
Enjoyment: 7
It will be very worth if you can get passed the first six episodes, which can feel like a chore and could've been done in three episodes. However afterwards the show is A-maze-ing.
Overall the show is divided almost in half. The first half is inert and has little moments of merit. The second half is constantly moving and shines like diamonds. If you aren't patient enough to watch the first 6 episodes than you'd only need to watch episodes 1, 2, and 6 and fill in the blanks in between and you'll be good to go.

The Clannad OVA's score is determined by how much liked Clannad and how much you like other characters. Tomoyo was my favorite female character and Clannad is my favorite anime. Naturally this OVA was amazing for me.
Story: 8
When exactly the story begins to stray from the original series is unclear but what is sure is that Nagisa is not present at all. In such a short time the OVA develops the relationship between Tomoyo and Tomoya. All aspects of their relationship, good and bad, are shown and are shown fairly realistically.
Art: 10
Clannad's character design is incredible. Every detail reflects the personalty of a character. The
...
OVA is no exception.
Sound: 10
An amazing soundtrack that does very well to set the mood and voice actors that perform flawlessly.
Character: 10
If you're watching an OVA, I can only assume that you have seen the original series. The characters are just as great as it is in the series. If you haven't seen the original series, the character development might seem a little fast paced.
Enjoyment: 10 (for me but varies)
I love the concept of a relationship between Tomoyo and Tomoya, so small flaws were more forgivable.
Single episode OVA's with alternate timelines are meant to indulge the fanboy/girl inside the viewer. Tomoyo chapter does above and beyond by adding a very good story to the OVA. Doesn't come close to how good the original series was but is a great take on the series.

Let's start this rev...(smacked by a camera).
Haruhi-chan does not follow a plot but sticks to the overall premise of Suzumiya Haruhi. This is good news for both fans of the show and even the haters of the show. There is no denying the originality behiind a god walking amongst us and is unaware of her powers. Some did like the way the original show was executed, fine. However if you still find the show has potential then Haruhi chan is your go to. The show has fun with all aspects of the original story but just don't ex[ect, well, a story.
The show is drawn in
...
chibi form of all characters. The normal version is used for paradoy of serious moments. The background art is very simple and colorful, that helps add a lighter mood to the show which is very appropriate for the show.
The sound is actually done very by the actors and some tracks from the OST can be very enjoyable. Exagerative moments are made clear from voice acting alone; props to voice actors for they do a splendid job despite the fact that it is a web-based series. Maybe as a possible complaint would be multiple voice changes for Haruhi for when she sounds relaxed and when she is normal Haruhi.
Do expect a few changes in the characters. These changes bring humorto the show and are worth getting past the initial fit of nerd rage. The interactions between characters are definitely the highlight of the show and show how well the characters were written. Some of bigger flaws in the characters could be brought by the relevance in a rivalry that is introduced in the show; for it is niether funny or entirely crucial to be included.
The beautiful part of the is that one does not need to be a fan the original seies to be enjoy this show's crazy antics. The show is defintitely worth the time watching and at an averag of 3-4 minutes an episode what do got to lose.

The tools for a masterpiece that got sculpted into something good.
This is probably the best way I can describe this show. By no means is it a bad show or even an average show. It seems that more could've been done and some things could've been done differently to make this show a true masterpiece. Once you can get past that you should realize that its actually a really great show with a good amount knowledge to show you.
The story is quite well written but the problem is that it doesn't progress well. It rarely drags on but it is quite noticable when it does.
...
The story merits praise, although the word bishoujo anime would fit well. It tries to show the fragile state that a person struggling with a mental disease is in. There are plenty of times when this point is excecuted perfectly and there times, a few too many to be a forgivable flaw, when this point isn't as clear or comes off more as comedic.
Definitely no complaints on character design or on the animation. I don't think they merit praise either. The art may sufffer from the execution of the story as well. This is because the mood set in the enviorment is fitted to the scene and unfortunately there times when it shouldn't be as light and when it shouldn't be as dark.
Each seiyuu does a magnificent job. In terms of voice acting the ones that definitly had a more outstanding performance were Yui Makino, voice of Misaki Nakahara, and Risa Hayamizu, voice of Megumi Kobayashi.
Every character is amazingly developed. A;though this show does have a main charecter he grows from his experiences and interactions with other charecters who in turn also grow from their interactions with the lead.
One of the biggest "pluses" of the show is the way it presents and addresses certain issues and topics. Thats not to say that you need to be constantly thinking to understand whats going but the thought you put is beyond the anime and isn't that the sign of a great piece of art.
This show has more than a share of flaws to be a masterpiece but nonetheless the show is defintely an experience to remeber.

Chocalate cornets. That is all it took to get hooked into this hilarious anime.
The biggest factor in the enjoyment to this anime is the characters. The characters are very well thought out, especially in the case of Izumi Konata. The character of Konata is so well written that it seems like she was created in a lab with a formula to please every anime watcher. The Hiiragi Kagami character adds as not only a compliment to Konata, but as a great centerpiece for adding social commentary and as many characters feed off of Kagami as they do Konata. Although the show names 4 characters as
...
the main characters, Lucky Star does raise Konata and Kagami to a higher level than it does Hiiragi Tsukasa or Takara Miyuki. Thats not to say that they aren't enjoyable when they are on screen. Tsukasa works as a perfect compliment to both Konata and Kagami, which is surprising considering the the polar opposite feel of thier personalities. Miyuki works well in giving "moe" to Lucky Star. Lucky Star is not about moe so she ends up being the butt of many jokes. Miyuki, however does manage to fit very well whenever she is on screen. The show also offers an abundance of supporting that give Miyuki and Tsukasa a run for heir money. Every one of them adds something different. The formuila does not change for the show with so many characters insteads builds on it and makes it seem very natural.
The story is not bad because well, there isn't one. The lack of a a progressing plot does not hurt the show because it's not focused on a plot, its focus is on its characters.
The art of Lucky Star is very basic. Nothing will really wow the viewers. The simplicity of the art is fit because the show is not complex in terms of development, in both a story or character. scenes where the art changes are typically for parody. This results from many references to other animes (Suzumiya Haruhi, Full Metal Panic, Street Fighter, Initial D, and many more).
The soundtrack for Lucky Star may only be as enjoyable as the show. The opening theme "Motteke Sailor Uniform" is a very fast paced, and upbeat song that actually does work well in transitioning into the show."Motteke Sailor Uniform" however, does not work well as the shows introduction, but if you like the show the song will grow on you.
In the end there not much changes from the beginning but as long as you became attatched these characters than its been an extremely enjoyable time.
