Cinema no Teikoku

Both are about girls involved in show business and trying their best to succeed (but for vastly different reasons). There are also two handsome guys trying to get the girl. "Skip Beat!" is lighter and has more comedic moments. "Cinema to Teikoku" is more somber. Overall, I like "Skip Beat!" better, but they are both good.

Adele to Darius

The 3rd one-shot in Kamisama (Ipaasha) and Adele to Darius both have slave girls that get involved with princes and there is turmoil in the royal court for various reasons. The art is very lovely in both mangas and the stories are both very nicely done.

Both mangas are produced by Harlequin. They're also both about girls who are in love with handsome, rich, powerful men and as their relationship is going downhill, the girls end up pregnant! Both very romantic~

"Mahoroba no Yobigoe" and "Kanata Kara" both have a girl who travels through time and tries to save a boy she loves. The art is really beautiful in both, and the male lead characters are both total bishies too! ♥

If you read and liked "Hanatsukihime" you will most likely enjoy "Ipaasha", and vice versa. Both have superbly beautiful art, are set in the desert, and flowers are a component of the mangas (actual flowers in Ipaasha and flower body markings in Hanatsukihime.)

They both have: girls with special abilities, hot bishies who are skilled fighters, monsters, demons, people/monsters seeking out more power, and a villain who is hard to defeat. Both are set in the Feudal period. The art style is also a little similar because they were both written a while ago, but it is really beautiful to look at.

Miriam and Kagome are both tough, stubborn, no-nonsense girls who are as keen on adventure as the male leads, and they prove they are just as strong as the guys. Kagome is a great shot with the bow and arrow; Miriam is quite the little sharpshooter. Also, the main couples don't realize they're in love for a while. Lastly, because they are both older mangas, the art style is similar. Both are really great stories!

"Towa ni Nemure" (Story #3) and "Wanted" are both stories about pirates and the girls they love. "Towa ni Nemure" is a lot sadder than "Wanted", though.

The art in NotB reminded me a lot of TCP--mostly the way the eyes were drawn and how the men have wide shoulders and skinny waists. The heroines are both strong fighting girls. Also, at the beginning of NotB, the people trying to eliminate the Black Demon kind of reminded me of the gangs in TCP. They are both exciting and dramatic manga. If you liked one, I think you'll like the other, even though NotB has some magical/supernatural elements and TCP doesn't.

They are both by the same author, Ueda Rinko. They are also both about a civilian/bad ninja in a relationship with a samurai/ninja. The characters in both really make you love them. ^_^
