Ooh, it's been too long, I don't remember some of these things you're referencing, though I probably would if I saw some relevant clips again or something. I remember Erin's mom and John (or whatever his name was), but I don't remember this third one, nor I do remember this female classmate. I do remember seeing Erin go straight from being a student to a teacher like it was the most natural thing, but having seen her grow up it felt natural to me as well that she would be able to do that, and that's something that's difficult to pull off. You can only get that with the right amount of time and development. I need to refresh my memory of the later portions of that show, because I remember I really liked it but I can't for the life of me remember what it was that I liked.
I got around to watching Liz and the Blue Bird in English dub. Unsurprisingly, I pretty much liked it just as much as I did the first time. Incidentally, I felt like I heard the word "love" a lot more than in the Japanese version. Maybe it's because I was actually listening instead of reading, or maybe they actually went and made the movie gayer. Either way, while a few side characters felt off, overall I thought the dub was really good. The blue bird actually felt like her voice was a higher pitch than in Japanese, which is rather different than the norm.
It just so happens that the woman who voices Reina in English also voices Homura from Madoka Magica, and I recognized her instantly. It was then that I noticed those two characters are rather similar in both appearance and personality, though I guess that's a common trope and so not very surprising.
Well, when I say "talk normally," I mean "talk like you normally do."
Change can be hard to accept for many, but I find I'm quite adaptive. I definitely don't kick and scream.
Well, I haven't seen March Comes in like a Lion, but it sounds as though you quite like it. Can't say I've never seen a storyline like the episode you describe, though that's not a bad thing. It does feel a bit strange to me, though, because I remember being a kid and I don't remember anyone feeling close enough to any specific friend to let themself be bullied. Well, to be fair, I don't really remember anyone ever being a "target" of bullying, at least for any prolonged amount of time. Though I do recall my brother having a lot of trouble with bullying in his school days.
It's been a while, and there are comments on my profile that need to be pushed down (but don't spam this time, just talk normally).
I decided to take a break from anime this season. It seemed a good time; Aikatsu Friends season 1 ended, there's little else that seems interesting, and my work hours are ramping up. I do plan to catch up and continue with Aikatsu and Attack on Titan later, maybe some of the other stuff from this season if people say they're good, but the break feels nice. Sometimes it just gets to that point where you need something different, you know?
It seems you quite liked Erin. What did you like about it?
I forgive you, though I'm not sure what you're sorry about.
I think that was just because they're both princesses of different kingdoms, so eventually they'll have to settle matters in their own country, not that they can't still be together. Then again, this is coming from Japan, so...
The CoConcert is but a myth. They tell tales of it around the campfire, but not one has laid their own eyes upon it.
They may not have become soeurs, but they did, as the old saying goes, get a room. Some people still call it subtext, but I really don't see how it can be interpreted that way. For example, Anne keeping Grea's shed tail skin and taking it out to sniff. That just ain't platonic. If it were a boy's used shirt she were keeping around and shoving her face in I'm sure no one would be saying, "Nah, she only likes him as a friend."
Yeah, the episodes are shorter than normal, but I still felt like the show had the time to do what it wanted to do. Which isn't a whole lot, to be fair.
Oh wow, it's been years since I saw Soul Eater. Yeah, can't say I remember the music aside from the OP.

The cool, dark-haired beauty. Chikane from Kannazuki no Miko, Sachiko from Maria-sama...yeah, it's a thing. I like it, though.
Erin was good! I liked being able to see her life from an early child to a grown adult.

I have watched Erin. It's been a few years so I don't remember all the details, but I liked it.

Erin is wonderful.
Seirei no moribito and Kemono no souja are works that I wish they had more recognition
