Yeah, especially since the Re anime is airing and follows the manga's story while also disregarding Root A altogether.

Re is pretty confusing at first, but it starts to get good when the old characters are reintroduced, though nowhere as good as the first manga imo.

Gotcha. Root A is a lot worse than the manga, basically Kaneki joins Aogiri Tree (which means no 103 Bones moment) and becomes a generic edgelord.
