You do have lower frames per second in animation, but that is because you can cheat the human eye with with something called in-between frames ( https://gfycat.com/CornyPracticalAssassinbug ). These in-between frames compensate for the lack of time/resources to animate 30+ frames per second. As far as you preferring less movement, that is fine. Ajin fails at almost anything that moves. Anything that moves other than the black ghosts is awfully done. Black ghosts are allowed to move in a choppy fashion because we do not have a preconceived notion on how these entities move. Robots and vehicles can often be in CG because they already maneuver with static movements. If you like anime with less movement, then there are plenty of shows for you that do less movement in a way that is less jarring. I recommend Berserk (1997). I see that you liked Attack on Titan, there are panning scenes where you can appreciate stuff not moving. I appreciate smoothness in animation. You explaining something as an uncanny valley between 2d and 3d is not really a point I can't really comment on. I only see low quality, I wouldn't promote it to a form of 2d. I struggle to see how you think that bad 3dcg is a form of 2d, but I will nod my head in a way that says I get it. I hope you enjoy Ajin more than I did. I will add your two cents to my piggy bank.

While I personally would recommend sitting through the whole series since it is only 13 episodes + 1 OVA, not everyone would agree. At least it isn't one of those anime where even it's diehard fandom seriously say, "Just get through the first 70 episodes and I SWEAR it gets good" - every fan of Galactic Heroes including me.

Hey now! Hey Now! There is no need to kink shame! I'm sure some people with a golden fetish can go far in life...like allegedly the presidency.

Many drop Elfen Lied after 1 episode because it is BY FAR the worst episode. As for the floor pissing, this is because the manga was written as an echii/horror hybrid. The anime director on the other hand, took a far more serious approach and wanted to create more of a psychological drama/ dark romance. In the first couple episodes it almost directly follows the manga and the director has less creative control. The series really turns things around (at least according to its fans) in episodes 7 to 13. The manga actually has MANY urination scenes with many characters because that is one of Lynn Okamoto's kinks. The anime only has 1 because this is a Mamoru Kanbe led anime and he's not really an echii guy.

Interesting first review. I liked the part where you mentioned she pees on the floor.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
