Recommendation Club Newsletter~Holiday Edition

As we enter into one of the busiest times of the year, we here at the Recommendation Club would like to extend our wishes for each and every one of you to have a wonderful holiday season!

Since the September newsletter, our club has gained many new members, and seen the return of old ones. We would like to keep the momentum going, and with our member list now at 3,111, that should be no problem at all! ^_^.

We would like all of our members, old and new, to help keep this an active, and fun club, a place to Chat and to seek out recommendations in our General anime and General Manga thread as well as the specific anime genre threads, such as Drama and Romance and Sci-fi and many others as well.

It’s a great place to make new friends, or renew past friendships, and we urge all of our members to drop by, and post in the various threads and comment section, as well as share you expertise with other members.

We look forward to seeing you all here !

News:

With the fall season upon us, the club has not been as active recently with our members being busy with work, school, and the other things life throws our way, but we here at the Recommendation Club want to let all of our members know that we haven't gone anywhere! We welcome you all to drop by, and say hello to old friends, or make new ones. We have a large member-list, and we would like to see all of you joining in, and sharing, your anime and manga knowledge with the club!

Loads of new members join all the time, either wanting recommendations, or eager to share their expertise with others, so don't be shy, and join right in! Like to chat? Well we have a thread just for that. New to our club or like to greet others? Check out our Intro thread. Looking for a new anime to watch or manga to read? Head on over to our General Recommendation Thread. Don't see what you want to know? Please feel free to make new threads to get your burning questions asked, or just join in with the others in the comments section!

We are currently seeking help with our member cards, so if you feel like lending a hand in this area you are more than welcome!

Well i would recommend it if you like japanese cinema which i think you would so go buy it or stream it or whatever^^

Aria huh? I need to check that out, i just started watching Angel Beats(finally). Oh what grade are you heading to? Movie... have you checked out Goemon? That was a good movie i recently watched, most of the movies i've seen you already have on your list but i'll try to think of sum more.

Same here, i just got this recreation job and its really boring all i do all day is watch the gym(sleep, internet, draw) haha. You watching any good shows lately?

Konnichi Wa! Vicma! (^_^) Hmmm... Ok, I will be sure to look into it thanks! (^_^) Haha... me and alot of other people were thinking exactly the same thing as you when we first read the synopsis of Astarotte no omocha! too XD But, it's not as bad as what the synopsis is portraying, it's actually quite heartwarming anime, well... at least through the episodes I've watched so far XD Still it's not really as bad as what the synopsis is saying (^_^) Anyways, I came back from Anime Expo in L.A. last week and it was the best time of my life! ^o^ I will be making a blog about my time there so look forward to it! (^_^)

The madoka magical was unexpected

Hi Vic! (^_^) Sorry for the late reply (^_^) Sayaka-chan is a nice character (^_^) Yeah, it was sad that she lost her love and also died, it was very tragic :( My second favorite character would be Kyouko-chan (^_^)

Your welcome! (^_^) Yeah, the anticipation this year has been far to great to handle XD Out of all the anime series this year which one would you consider the best so far? For me it is definitely "Maho Shoujo Madoka Magica!" (^_^) which has already made it on my favorite anime list (like yours) (^_^) even before the series was over XD Who was your favorite character in Madoka Magica? For me it was definitely Homura-chan! (^_^) since I love Kuudere moe type characters (^_^)

Yeah, I hope Japan can recover soon as well. I'm planning to donate $200 to Japan. My heart goes out to them.

Ok (^_^) Some of the ones I'm looking most forward to is Fate/Zero, which is the prequel to Fate/Stay Night and Shakugan no Shana 3 both of which are suppose to air this October (^_^) Code Geass Gaiden: Bokoku no Akito if they comes out this year which I'm really hoping that they will (^_^) here is the list of animes series, ovas and what not that are coming out not only this summer but the entire year (2011) http://www.animeph.com/summer-2011-new-anime-season-preview-list This year so far has been pretty good and the rest of the year looks completely amazing XD

I've been kinda like you too. Watching anime and taking care of everything that comes at you in life XD So are you looking forward to any new anime titles that are coming out sometime later?
