The characters share great similarities between trauma and trying to over come it and better themselves. They share a great resolve and wanting to be more and better than their current standings, along with age and other personality similarities. Kotaro is a modern day setting whereas Ranking of Kings is a more medieval setting but they are still both similar and very sweet and heart breaking in the way the characters are explored. I have found both wholesome and gut wrenching to watch and would definitely think if you like one the other is worth a try :)

both are very similar, both BL and have comedic aspects. There are also similar personality tropes

Kuroko's basket has the same vibe and the same comedic aspects as haikyuu! it also has the same intensity and same hopefulness from the characters trying to better themselves in the games they love

There are similar comedic elements as well as fighting elements, similarities between the demons and the curses. Demon Slayer is one of my favourite animes and this instantly became a favourite of mine after watching it too
