It's like, okay? I've had a bit of time to think about this anime after watching it and while I wouldn't call it bad it is by no means perfect. I feel like there was a lot of wasted potential, especially near the end. As it continued I felt like the writing got worse, and I was actively making fun of it by the end. It feels really rushed as a series, and like the interesting parts I wanted to have explored more in the series either got brushed over or dropped entirely. I think Cyberpunk: Edgerunners would have benefited a lot from having 2

more episodes, or even a whole extra season to develop characters, relationships, and plot developments more, while still keeping the same general plot structure the same.
I do appreciate Lucy and David being a normal couple in anime, it's refreshing for once, but I feel like their relationship was kind of bland and I think they could have done more with it. The other characters relationships with each other were also pretty shallow, and I felt like the show was kind of banking on you to fill in the blanks with your imagination at times.
The art and animation were solid and consistent but it never really wowed me outside of that. Music was hit or miss, I liked the ending song but I can't remember anything else from the soundtrack off the top of my head. Honestly I can say that for most of this anime; I was really hyped up for this and then when I gave it a watch I liked maybe 2 things about it, and the rest was disappointing and forgettable.
