Yay! I have high hopes to cosplaying them in upcoming conventions :D or I might just cosplay as an OC Saniwa.

I love 'pretty' toudans (Monoyoshi, Yasusada, Kasen, Tsuru, Higekiri) so I started playing this game without realising that there are some very young tantous and big, burly Yaris. Souza is so fragile, both physically and emotionally, it's really sad for me to use him in battle. ;w; poor him

Oh, I am reading that manga right now, it's just that all the chapters aren't completed yet by the scanlations. Looking forward to that Kasen scene! I tend to like the skinnier bishounen in Tourabu but it's different when it comes to Kasen. Which anthology was that? I've seen a few chapters with Kasen but I can never recall him sewing... But I thank the mangaka for keeping him accurate to the official art.
I guess he got those muscular arms from, I dunno. But somehow I can imagine him doing press-ups and writing a poem simultaneously XD

It's just that cliches are formed because of the types of things that we readers/watchers like. I know producers want to get the most out of their creations by using repetitive tropes as these things tend to stick in our heads a little better. I'm not gonna lie, I sometimes love cliches only to the extent that it doesn't bore me.

Well, Hotarumaru is really short, I think he's around 120 cm while Hasebe is the same height of a grown man(178 cm), according to the official source.

Yeah that's probably true since Hiza's drop rate is above 1 percent. Me too ;; wouldn't that be amazing if he did have monobrow, probably the most original character design. Tourabu lacks swords that have facial hair and that's kinda sad (except Nihongou and Nagasone).

Japanese history has so much Buddhism so it's expected that the swords would have its history revolving monks and Buddhism.
About Juzu and Shinano... You can't really compare a tiny tantou with one of the divine Tenga Goken in the first place. xD

He reminds me of Honebami with the whole 'amnesia' thing.

Ahh please don't kill me ;w; I know you and other people must've taken so much effort to grind for Juzu. The grinding may be exhausting and boring, but he's worth having on the team. He's pretty too. His formality and the intonation of his speech really portrays the elegance, I love it. (Kasen, I think you have a competition, haha).

Haha I know they don't have that kind of sword kink, instead, they fall for the art, history or the voice acting. Aw that's good for you :D ever since I got into anime you can pretty much say that I've gotten so picky in guys that I might as well not be in a relationship. No matter what sword, they will always have a fraction of those people. I've seen enough doujin that confirms this and Ishikirimaru wasn't enough of a holy sword to remove all the sins after reading it xD

You know, this Sada-chan is a tantou IRL so I'll be looking forward to seeing how he'll look like in the game. (Why so many tantous though?)

That's what really made me reluctant in researching Hasebe's history - some people in his fanbase are pretty intense. Aw that sounds totally cute >o< and I'd give Mitsu his Sada-chan because it seems like DMM ignored his wish.

So does Hasebe, both of them must be very scarred by Nobunaga. I've recently seen a cosplay of Souza where he looked so vulnurable, the pose and emotions made me shiver it's painful ; ; nice to know about you too! :D

Kasen might not be a perfect representation of the most human characters. Though after reading and learning more about him, he gave me this sort of impression of what Samurai used to do back then, and not forgetting that some of them can be pretty insane. Also, he shares the similar personality of Hosokawa Tadaoki, thus, making him easier to visualise.

But let's face it: both Tenryuu and Mitsutada are both cool. My headcanon: They have a brother-sister relationship but it seems like Mitsutada prefers hanging out with his buddy Kuri-chan xD Tenryuu gets jealous.

Oh that's partly the reason why I don't like Mitsutada much. He's such an otome character, he's undoubtedly seen as a target by thirsty Fujoshi. That's what I love about Tsurumaru. He would butt in whatever the heck KuriMitsu are doing, he'd shout "Odoraitaka?" xD

I really like that despite Kane-san is another cocky, cool-douchebag, he's actually the youngest in the game and a Kouhai to Horikawa. Another cool thing is that Kane-san was made to match Horikawa, hence why they have similar colour schemes/style. Plus, Wakizashi-Uchigatana dual attack thing.

Oooh HeshiSou, my what a combination :D I've never really seen anyone with that ship (I do recall that I've seen a HeshiSou cosplay). This must be one of the most heart-wrenching ship I've come across, thinking about it makes me chill. Don't you worry, I can never take full-on yaoi ships when it's with the Touken Danshi. It's just disrespectful you know, thinking about Japanese National treasure that way (unless if it's your thing, then I won't stop ya).

Yeah @_@ I often forget that Kasen is the perfect embodiment of a samurai back in the day. He's so human I love it.

I do think Tenryuu and Mitsutada having a comrade-comrade relationship, nothing more than that. Ah KuriMitsu hell, where one side of the fandom is in favour of kinky yaoi aspect and/or one side which just likes Ookurikara and Mitsutada doing cute things. I personally like both of them relaxing at the citadel, while Tsurumaru acts as a third wheel. (Tsuru is best rare Tachi, man)
Tell you what, my BroTP is KaneHori because they were made to be together, literally.
It's weird that I'm a shipmaniac but I don't really ship Touken Danshi that much. Maybe cause they're swords IRL? xD

Well, from what I can see both of the KanColle girls do fit the Kasen-ness - Tatsuta is indeed sadist and Hatsuharu's speech is elegant and polite.
