To be fair I saw this a really really really long time ago and only added it since recently a friend returned my VHS copy of the movie. From what I remember I enjoyed it quite a bit but back then I hadn't watched much anime and compared to today's standards I'd assume it is pretty low.
Taking into consideration when it was made it's a decent little flick. Story is rather weak, animation isn't bad sound I can't really remember but I gave it a 6 since if it was bad I'd probably remember it.
Overall I'd say worth a look but nothing to strain yourself
