it was going there, the score was rising for me, I was enjoying it but then they had to kill a dog >:( that's not cool, I don't care if it is just Imaginary one or that it is just a drawing. Initially my score to this was 8 but with that single scene on a single frame on a single panel, it lowered down the score for me because I mainly score base on my enjoyment and killing an innocent animal kills my enjoyment. I don't care if it's fiction, you have the right to get enjoyed, laugh, cry, motivated, learn a lesson from
...
mangas or anime which are fictions, so I also have the right to get angry on a fiction. So with that it is 7, but wait there's more.
Another thing I just learner midway through chapter was how many text and speech bubbles are there, sure this is an old manga so expect a lot of text on each panel but sometimes it get's too tiring and too boring, sure it's not as texty as hunter x hunter but at least in hunter x hunter when there's boat load of text, it is still somewhat entertaining, here the boat load of text are most of the times, redundant information that we already know, so with that the score goes down by 1 again, it is now 6.
The last chapters was more like a shonen anime, it stray away from the mysterious horror but still a good one. I would like if the author make a spin-off involving just the characters from that chapters and make it more shonen like but anyway here's the verdict. So it is currently 6 but because of the epilogue, the final chapter, the little backstory about the main characters of the final arc, it was enough for me to up the score so the final score is 7, but gonna put it in mixed feelings.

Lactation, breast feeding, happy s*x, childhood friends, MC is not a wimp, character design of the girl is top notch, artstyle is above average, seriously I can't think of reason why you won't like this manga, it satisfies two of my greatest fetish then add the great art style equals a happy spectre699 also seggs scene & story is pretty average but it'll do so it's a 9 to me.
I know it's has a pretty generic story but sometimes all it needs is just that, happy s*x is tried and tested, no need to venture into the deepest darkest depth of degeneracy. If you're like
...
me who likes to f*p at good story & good material, I highly recommend this.

WARNING MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD
The story is too slow for a fantasy anime (at least to me), I also didn't like the deuteragonist (the silver haired girl), her POV story is so bland and boring, I would definitely like it more if they focus on the actual protagonist (the blonde princess), not only the protagonist's character is more engaging but also her goal and aspiration is quite good too, it makes me want to see how will she achieve her goal, the journey she took to get there.
One of the main thing I didn't like about in this series is the drama, there's no drama tag
...
here, I don't give a crap about the drama, political non-sense shit of the story, I was expecting a fantasy anime, there's some but overall it did not meet my expectations, also give us more of that revolution story.
It's not all bad, I commend the anime, it did its job portraying the deuteragonist has nothing, I mean I hated her because she's too boring which is what her character is supposed to be, also the animations is above average, little to no dull animations, the character design is also good so good job on that part.
The story, it didn't click to me, basically this is all about characters who are jealous of each other and the funny thing is that at the end they both try to sacrifice themselves for each other which to me looks dumb, it didn't have the same gravity as some of the other self-sacrifice scenes, overall it's too dramatic to me, it's more like forced drama so it's a 5 to me.

Sleeper anime of the year, I didn't expect this would be a good show, I thought for sure that this was some generic action fantasy show.
What I love about this anime is the strategies and clever ways to tackle the problem presented, that's why I love Hunter X Hunter 2011, Tomodachi Game & battle in 5 seconds, even though one character is not that powerful, they can even the odds through strategies. The Comedy gag was average but there are parts of comedies that was not part of the gag that are way too funny, so to me it satisfies the comedy tag there. The
...
ecchi is just the cherry on top for me, it's the reason why I even watch this in the first place, it was a decent ecchi, the old school ecchi, unlike the new ones where they implied to actually do it (well I also love that but MAL finally separate them & gave them new genre).

Now this is a slice of life manga that I really enjoyed, it's not boring compared to other slice of life manga and even anime, though there's still isn't a proper story, I get hooked because of the tips, knowledge, tricks that was shown in this manga, the only thing I didn't like about is the male MC, I get that he's a man child, he don't know any basic housework, sure it is ok I mean that's kinda the whole plot (if you can call it plot) of the manga but his constant simping for the female MC is what annoys me, every little
...
thing the female MC do, male MC sexualize or romanticize it, it's like he's too thirsty for female, I hate that kinds of characters though that doesn't stop me from enjoying this manga, I too wanted to live alone but due to our country's tradition and circumstances in life, I can't do it, for now at least so reading this kinda eases my urge a little bit to live alone. If you have a time and wanted to read some wholesome manga, I highly recommend this.

I already know what to expect because I already saw the anime way back in 2011 but unlike in the anime adaptation, there's really a little redeeming qualities here, the story is automatically below average to me, too dramatic for my taste, yes it is drama so I should've seen that coming but a lot the problems presented here are solvable by logic not just following your "feelings".
This reminded me how selfish the "main girl" is, she's almost like a yandere, the reason why the anime is rated higher than this manga is because of the "plot" scenes (you know what I mean when
...
you watch it), if the anime doesn't have that, I bet I'll rate the anime lower too, heck the best character in this manga isn't even a human, it's the "master" in the anime "master" doesn't have too much spotlight.

Here I thought this was something new, I was having fun in the rest of the episodes until they introduce or rather forced the romance part, I didn't like it also not to mention that the MC is a simp. I give credits to them though, night time focus or night time centric is quite new in the anime, I was craving for that for ages, they did quite good for awhile there, the comedy part, the random stuff they do, that's what I like, I would rather continue it like that or create a new entire anime, a slice of life anime focusing on
...
what things you can do in night time, but then they had to add the vampire shit, that what kills the mood for me then after the vampire reveal they had to add to forced romance though I know that it's already a romance so I expect that already so I'm not gonna be too harsh on them for that one.
So overall it's a 6 to me, yes I didn't like the "main story", yes I didn't like the forced romance, yes I didn't like the supernatural crap, yes I had a lot I didn't like about the series BUT the first episode of that night time, that's what this keeps the score afloat to me, because like the MC, I really enjoy strolling through to city night & suburban nights so the wow factor, the new factor was in play, then add the random things they do in first half, they use the "first impression last" to their advantage, though I didn't like the last arc, specifically the last 3 episodes.

The only flaws from this one is the pacing, see unlike the other guy, I've read the other manga version first before this reboot version, In the old manga, it was more flesh out, the story pacing is all right here there's a lot they skip, I'm assuming because the first manga just ended a year after this reboot version's serialization so to them it makes sense to rush the arcs that the first one already tackled, the problem is that those who didn't read the first version, to them it's confusing but to be honest the story is quite average, they we're minor differences
...
in the first arcs but men it was different in the later arcs, although I like the first one better, both art and the pacing of the story but the story especially the last arcs, I like this one better, so I give it a 6, it all comes down the art that's why this one got lower score for me compared to the other one, even though I like the story of this one better than the first one.

Putting my feelings aside, I say this is a new experience to me, I have never read a dark fantasy manga so most of the tragedies that happened are quite shocking to me also It's been a long time since I was so immersed in reading a manga, last time was probably 5 months ago since I wrote this, I'm quite satisfied with the story because at the start of the manga it did tell that it will be a "dark fantasy" so expect some character deaths.
Now the only flaws I think is the repetitive of the tragedy, it would impact more if the tragedies
...
only has a couple of characters dying and those characters should be a secondary characters so that the impact would be more on personal level, like what happened in the first party, I was rooting for the lizardman in that party, I know that the lamia and the neko girl receptionist was bound to die because they are conflict of interest with the main girl (the fairy girl), but to kill all of them? the personal feeling of the reader diminish because all of them got killed unlike if it is just one or two notable characters who died (kinda like with ace in one piece or neji in naruto), the author did it again in the second arc, I was rooting for Vulcan and the skeleton guy, but the whole adventurer guild died, while it still gave me quite shocking experience, it diminish the feeling of sadness because it didn't connect into personal level of grief, if let's say only vulacan, skeleton guy, elf alchemist boy and thief slime died, I would feel it much more because we've been with this characters for quite some time but if you repeat the same thing that already happened, it greatly diminishes the shock value because at this point, if it continued, it would become predictable.
I say all of those flaws but maybe it wasn't the mangaka's fault, it was the LN author's fault, maybe the mangaka just followed the LN.

I just steamrolled through this, after a couple of chapters, I've lost interest, I'm not even in the absurd ridiculous parts of the manga, I don't know, it doesn't have the same effect to me as it's predecessor "The Otaku in 10,000 BC", that was a master piece on its own, that was the standard, maybe because I already saw that and compared that with this one unconsciously, then after scrolling through most of the H-scenes, I just read the plot part because I'm still curious on what will happen, surprisingly the story itself is not that bad, but some H-scenes and girls are unbelievably
...
ridiculous, since the author is not limited to what the "present" have to offer, the author let loose too much imagination on this one, I like the idea but some if not the rest is gross and downright grotesque to me.
Now for the MC, the MC in "The Otaku in 10,000 BC" is way way way better like at the top of roof better than this manga's MC, both are essentially "losers" at first but did something in the other time, now what I don't like about this manga's MC is that he can't handle rejection and became too full of himself just because he did something in the other timeline, unlike in the "The Otaku in 10,000 BC" the MC is much more mature which overall make him more likable character.
Overall, I recommend this if you're too horny or looking something to f*p but if you want good story while f*pping or just overall a better experience, just read the "The Otaku in 10,000 BC" it's better.
