...then you might like Vagrant Soldier Ares add

Both stories contain children/Teens being abnormaly strong fighting/brawling skills and don't give in, even challenge, if a person with power tries to surpress them. The mainprotagonists in both stories are experts in surviving their rough world. But i think you liked the Tekkon Kinkreet or Ares not only because of their fights, it's also the vibe that includes the art style, the character design, their own fashion and just being very clever while being goofy and stupid. I hope you try one of each!

Shamo and Holyland share fantastic Streetfights, psychological developments of the Protagonists, Yuu and Ryu had a similar beginning with martial arts and got obsessed with it. Not only the fights in these 2 manga are similar but also the aspect of friendship, betrayal, hatred to other people and the beginning of understanding themselves. Holyland has very good seinen content in it, but Shamo overwhelms it and has a completely darker theme since the protagonist is nihilistic and plays the villain.

Mazing fights, funny fights, friends with their own goals. These two stories share many connections and the biggest connection is the friendship of Gon with Killua and Yuusuke with Hihei. Devilman has demons and one human/demon who protects the human. Inugami has dogs and there is one dog who likes the humans and protects his friend. Well these Inugami are Abstract and not ordinary and that goes for the demons from Devilman.

The protagonists are both teenagers and are connected to influential and important fights. Their fathers are important people in the story, but they don't take action. They have complexes about their own actions, that always when they try to do something by their own, they'll fail. While Shinji is a regular boy with father issues and no special skills, Eliah from Eden is capable to do something. He doesn't know his father that well, but the friends of his father tell him sometimes, that he's like his father. You will like the other manga, if you liked the other one. they both contain many metaphors to the bible and talk about sins-forgiveness etc.

Thanks to a ability of the protagonist of homunculus, he's able to see the burden of human.. well it's not like a burden, it's a psychological fear, trauma or something else, which is shown as the outer looking of a person, it's really abstract, so is Onodera Punpun as well. By the time, the look of him changes, it depends on his state of mind. So the main point of this rec. is the presentation of the true "face" of a personality.

Both are dark action Manga, the fights contain gore and are really violent. Many fighter from Grappler Baki don't think about rules in a fight, so does Ryo from Shamo as well (except some times). There are some character, which could be the same person. In Baki there is an overpowered yakuza boss called Kaoru Hanayama, with scars on face, a big tattoo on the back and he doesn't have an actual fighting style. One opponent from Ryo in Shamo had the same qualities.

The main point, which made me to recommend this titles to each other, is the art. In both manga you will see the main character in a careless stance while fighting the enemy with a gun, the same goes for the style it was drawn - you see a silhouette from someone, it's whole black but you can still read the stance.

Both from the same mangaka - Suehiro Maruo. They have many similar scenes (e.g. the swinger masquerade) and both have the dark and mysterious atmosphere.

One person, which tends to be psychotic and a fan of yaoi, guro and taking a role as hitler, actually this one person can be split in 2 - Zera and the Gods Child. Zera and gods child think they're superior to each human and they build a force of kids, which obeys them. They give a fuck about friendship and scarifice them. And without spoiling, both manga have a similar ending.

Shamo and HnI have many stuff in common - both protagonists are learning martial arts (Ippo learns boxing/ryo learns karate). Ippo wants to be stronger, so he won't get bullied, while ryo wants to survive the humiliation in prison. The effort those 2 put into their martial art is equal, so their progress is as well. And there are many scenes which resemble ti each other (for example the leaf catching). The only big border between those two super good manga is the atmosphere. Shamo is way darker, ryo gives shit about morals, he's a rapist, he works for yakuza and he kills. While ippo is the most innocent person alive, he has no bad thoughts, ryo would hate such a wimp. but without this dark seinen border, both manga are very similar!

Human fighting some mysterious monsters? that's what this manga have in common. there are even human fighting in some suits in hakaijuu, well you have to read it i won't spoil that much. but if you've liked gantz you will like this title and the around!

Zombies, mutant zombies and zombies with a unique power - that's what those both mangas have in common. the zombies look similar and the protagonists are just 'idiots'. I love both mangas and they're worth to read!

The First chapter of 2001 + 5 was similar to Boichi's Hotel. Huge Machines, that have a artificial soul which protect the last human in the world and try their best to keep them. I really recommend the first chapter of Hotel!

These two mangas are really similar and have many things in common! at first, in gantz you have to die to get into the room with the black ball and in Reversal you have to agree in game to join the game, well those are quite different but if that happens in the story only chosen people can enter those places. They hear a tone, which appears randomly and enter another world, they get a mission to get back to their real world. as well there are many gore and fighting scenes. I recommend both mangas, the art is epic and the atmosphere is really dark, that's what the have in common as well.
