Story -
We follow our main character after whom this series is named. A brutal, cold, highly skilled gunslinger who is in a word just badass and does badass things throughout the series, which for me atleat is pretty cool. Also, some of the story beats and plots are just so fun to witness. These unique plots are the things that set this manga far from being generic. So, if you like assassins, guns, badass characters and a nice unique plot then definitely give it a go.
Art -
Very detailed and good looking artwork. Specially the fight scenes! The battel on the ships, the train
...
scene all of them are just so cool. I would pay to watch some of the gun fight scenes in animation! I bet they'd look so ccol!
Overall -
A pretty nice and fun series! Worth giving a shot!

Got to know about this show from winter 2023 list, didn't know what to expect but this show really surprised me! It's one of the rare kinds which gets better with each episode! At first I didn't thought it'd be anything exceptional but it got really great with it's humor and wholesomeness as the episodes progressed! A great show with a lot of laughs and wholesome feeling which is hiding a very cruel world! It gives you the glimpse of the cold blooded world we live in but does not shift it's genre, a thing which I Loved the Most!
Although, the last episode was an
...
exception! It shows the story of a very different cat and a very different owner! But, that doesn't bore you! Rather makes you praise the thought process of the creator and makes you fan!
Give it shot! It's worth it!

Art/Animation -
The art style for this short was really good reminded me of (may be) a few Ghibli movies. No, not because of the Yeti, it's generally just because of the character designs. Background art reminded me of "Tsuki ga kirei". But, it looks really gorgeous and animation is also really nice. Hail Wit Studio! :)
Story -
Not gonna talk a lot about it. You definitely SHOULD watch it yourself it is really good. In short, it's your regular coming of age finding yourself alone in this world kind of story! Really nice, cute & wholesome!
Music/SFX -
There is subtle happy piano music in the
...
background. It fits the mood really well! And, I really liked the use of silence! When the climax hits the music stops and all the SFX's gets louder. We see our main character struggling to reach her goal! But then the final realization hits! You understand nothing more can be done in here! And, THEN the music continues again! A sweet piano music with a bit of melancholy mixed in it! GREAT!
The ending was really good too! Definitely gonna listne to it a few more times!
Overall -
Great Short! You should give it try! :)

Art Style -
Great! Didn't really had a lot of expectations but the Art turned out to be really good! It looks beautiful and definitely does not feel like a crowdfunding project! They can easily approach a singer and make a Music Video for them (preferably a upbeat hopeful song) just out of the visuals in this film! (Well I mean, this is just a suggestion. But I think this would be good!)
Music/SFX -
Music and SFX was no doubt one of the biggest selling points of this film! They did a real good job building the world and introducing the characters, their roles in
...
that world and their emotions just with music and SFX! Really great job there!
Film -
I noticed there were no dialouges while watching the film! Now, generally what happens is, if your film doesn't have any dialouges you don't show any shots where the character's lips are moving! But, in this film they did exactly that! And, it scared me made me think, "Oh they messed up" but no they did not! The expressions of the characters, their characteristics they showed it all with montages and a bit of animation (mostly in close ups)! And, you know what it actually works! All the characters feels distinctive just with a glance! And, praise them that they used animation EFFICIENTLY!
Overall -
I totally think that it deserves to be made into a feture film! This 4 minutes pilot has just made me more and more curious for the WHOLE story of the characters and I'll eagerly be waiting to watch it on the big screens!!

Art -
How do you know that the animation you are watching, is an anime?
Is it - a) style of the animation or b) atmosphere in the animation ?
NO, NOTHING! It's c) FIREWORKS, SCHOOL SETTING & CHARACTERS WITH JAWLINE SHARPER THAN A KATANA!
Hey I'm not s*itng on anime for that okay? That's one of the reasons why we all love anime! What i'm tryna say is that this short has a art style which you can call ANIME! And, it's GORGEOUS!
Animation -
The name WIT Studio is enough.
...
Story -
Now one of the convoluted things in the short! Shortly this short tries to show too much! The crossdressing and hidden idol life part was kinda cute! But, how like.. Tanks? Blast? Giant Butterfly? How? Where? WHY?
I'd have liked it better if it had chosen only one thing or at least if they made the duration a bit longer and let us know what the hell was going on!
Song/Music -
If you like your pop upbeat music you will like it too. (i guess)
Overall -
As a one time watch it's good! But, in this TOHO Animation 10th anniversary project sadly it's the weakest one for me! You may have another opinion but it's just me.

Story -
This MV is something you may call a generic teenage romance story. There is not much to the story but as a teenager it is still quiet understandable! Definitely not for someone who isn't here to take a dip in the cringy, clingy unsurity of young romance (or someone who has gave on love, kidding). TBH, young romance is actually just like this. There isn't much tension in reality but it's a lot for that age! That sheer excitement of being with the person you love or just to know them better is a big thing!
Art -
Really LOVED the art style! The
...
ANIME aesthetics start to finish! (unlike the other MVs in this TOHO Animation 10th anniversary project) This kinda reminds me of the film "Summer Ghost" by the same director loundraw. The color palate is way to gorgeous to be just a MV! The art is definitely one of the bing points of this MV.
Film -
The MV itself feels like a trailer for a long running movie. That's because of the fast paced editing, not necessarily a bad thing, it works here! The voices aren't adjusted according to locations so it feels like voiceover. The SFXs are at times good and at times okay-ish, could have been better.
Song/Music -
The song is definitely the best part of this MV. It properly complements the story, even makes it better!
Overall -
It's good for a one time watch! And, the song is going straight to my playlist. You may give it a try!

Art/Animation -
The art sure is Unique! We don't get to see this art style in anime that often or may be never (not sure). But, in here this style actually adds a lot to the story. The background art is really nicely detailed! And, there are different styles ahead in the film when the drama gets more intense! And, all of them blend together so nicely it's just spectacular!
Story/Film -
The story is no doubt the heart of this film! For the first 2 minutes in the film we don't even get to hear the music it's all worldbuilding but those 2 minutes flies
...
away so fast we don't even understand when? The sheer thrill of being a kid and exploring known but empty places, the tension between two family members fighting whom both you love dearly and exactly the same! This films explores all these topics in just 6 DAMN MINUTES! The SFX at the beginning and ending also helps the drama to build up and resolve.
Music/Song -
The song is kind of like a classic ballad. Accepting all the sorrows in life our melancholic main character dances hoping for the upcoming better days. A song which you can play at the evening and dance around your house while having a glass of wine! (Or, soft drink if you are underage!)
Overall -
Great! 極上だ! Magnificent! Watch it now!

Art/Animation -
The art style is really cool. Kind of reminds me of weebtoon art upto a point but not totally just that. It definitely has elements of it's own. This style really enhances the experience of the seasons in Japan. It's almost like you could feel the weather yourself. Animation is a bit jerky but that in no way ruins the experience but adds to it!
Film -
I'll not talk about the story much because I think you should see it yourself. But, it's not JUST a music video. It's a proper film and the song in background helps setting the mood and discovering
...
the world of the film. Even at some points the song stops to add to that moment and helps us take in all what is there to know much more about it. Really liked this approach. The film reminded me of a live action japanese film named, "Rent a Cat", at least the start of it.
Voice Acting & Sound effects -
The fact that they hired actual voice actors just for a music video says a lot about how much dedicated they were! Because, being totally honest I can't see anyone else in the world doing this except for "anime people". Great job there! The voice actors added a lot to the story and made it a joy ride start to finish.
The sound effects as well added a lot to the setting and the drama. These ARE the little things which make a film stand out!
Song -
The song was really nice and soothing! Kinda Lofi and R&B. It's kind of a song you play after a long day at office/school whene you are on the train and your headphones are plugged in! (Or, AirPods if you are a rich brat! Just kidding)
Overall -
A great film and a great song! Didn't expect such drama from a 5 minutes mv but got it in the end anyways! On YouTube turn on the auto generated Jap subs then auto-translate to Eng. It won't be perfect but it'll help!

This music video is kind of something else. Firtst impressions, really liked the song! The characters reminded me of 60s anime. Overall enjoyed the mv. Afterwards, I watched it a few more times and here are my thoughts.
Art/Animation -
As I said earlier, the characters reminded me of 60s anime but in 2020s. The detailing, light and shadow really enhances the visuals and make it a very nice experience. China(director) and TOHO animation did a really great job there!
Story -
I couldn't make a clear sense of the story may be because there were no subtitles but heres what I think - May be this is
...
a snow white story where the friend/lover of the main character who is (may be) going through existential crisis seeing our MC taking all the lime light! And, tries to kill the MC by feeding the MC that apple, in the place of the witch!
I know, it doesn't really make a lot of sense but that's what I THINK.
Music/Song -
Never heard of CreepHyp before, but the song is definitely a banger! It's going straight to my playlist! The song makes me feel like it's a sunny, windy, pleasant morning in 2007 and reminds me of 90's nostalgia which I never lived!
Overall -
A very good MV. Not Exceptional or something, but it also doesn't pretends or tries to be so. It knows what it is and delivers a nice experience being so! I think you should give it a try if you like your good old nostalgic music and shoujo anime!

Story & Characters -
To be honest there isn't much to say about the story. It's a pretty nice & simple concept. Really liked it! The characters are pretty cool too! One main problem with these indie animes is that all the characters seem to be kind of the same! So, it becomes very hard to follow them or their path. But, in this case both the characteristics and the designs are very distinctive! So, the emotions the they convey feels very natural and understandable!
Art & Animation -
If I need to say only one word about the art then it is - Gorgeous!
Well, it's
...
not really surprising though! The name Wit Studio, that's enough! One of the reasons that I watched this anime was definitely because of the background arts! The art really helps the anime in it's worldbuilding! Which I will talk about in a minute.
About the animation, I'd say it's efficient. Which is a very good thing! It's a indie project so of course they had a limited quote-unquote budget. So, it's very nice to see them using the animation efficiently! The last two episodes which is basically the climax of the show the animation is at it's absolute best! (Keeping the budget in mind of course)
Worldbuilding -
The anime does a great job in it's worldbuilding. Which is my most favourite thing about this show! As I said earlier the gorgeous background arts add live to it's world! But, also the characters and different creatures of this world keep you eagerly waiting to know more about it! The creator did a magnificent job there!
Music -
The music was pretty good! I really liked it.
Overall -
Not just as of being a indie project, it generally does a great job. A nice, short show with a good story and music. Along with great characters & amazing worldbuilding and art!
