I have read your ultra heaven review. I would like if possible on "drugs are represented as a route to change your state of consciousness and HAVE emotions available at your fingertips" - what do drugs normally do in reality, how do emotions work biologically if one needs a stimulate to experience or to control them as you say

yo, just wanted to shout out your ultra heaven review. i read ultra heaven when i was maybe 17 and had never used drugs and just thought it had beautiful art and was a really experimental piece of work, but rereading it after having been an addict is a totally different experience. like you said, "total freedom" doesn't mean much when you need to redose every 4 hours
funny, i'd never expect japan to come out with something like that since reading most manga you'd think japan had no idea drugs existed

I personally find it a much better drug to do socially with some friends than alone, I know alone I felt a bit weird on it but with other people everything about that drug clicks really well for me.

I'm almost never on my skype account (like, less than once a month and I've moved a lot this year so I think the last time I was on was in like January maybe? lmao), I'm kind of a digital hermit these days outside of email and the odd tumblr login.

And yeah, I know I'd probably have REALLY liked Mind Game on acid or shrooms, I saw it sober (and without weed at the time! *sobs*) but I know the next time I watch I'll wanna be on a psychedelic.

You ever tried any of the 2C family of psychedelics, like 2C-I or 2C-B? If you like LSD and MDMA, you would LOVE those.

Reading your review of the 2012 Kyousou Giga ONAs I laughed out loud at the end. I love MDMA and I could just imagine watching those eps on MDMA I would've ended up giving them a 10/10 (there's very little I wouldn't rate 9 or 10 on MDMA tho probably, MDMA tapes the happy switch in my brain to the on position and I still hold some, if I'm honest, 5-7/10 movies I've watched on MDMA up on an undeserving 9-10/10 pedestal just from that lmao)

Anyway just wanted to say your review made me laugh and you seem like a fun person.

Your Ultra Heaven review inspired me to read the manga, I am forever grateful. A little late since i read it almost 3 months ago but whatever my favorite manga now, thank you.

Reviewing dimension w after two episodes is just moronic
TheMisled Mar 27, 2016 4:29 PM
Indeed, the first lot of episodes seem to show that coils really aren't all sunshine and rainbows and towards the end their true, darker nature is revealed. Pretty good so far.

I think you need watching dimension w and then go back to re-do your review. I'm not going to spoil anything but the concept of dimension w is given fairly good scientific ground.

Neah I know we have different taste in anime was just being an ass cuz I was bored. Di Gi Charat definetly not a 10/10 lol, Inuyasha one of the best classics, up there with the likes of yu yu hakusho, Fairy Tail better than a 2 imo, (don't be a hater), Mekakucity Actors and Gangsta. worth higher. I completely understand low grades for harem / echi anime's (even though there are a few gold ones). From your list it seems you like horror/paranormal animes (not the biggest fan but give Hanada Shounen-shi a try, it's really really good) and artsy fartsy ones (which I mostly find bad most of the time) and that you are not a fan of shonen animes (again I understand, considering we got shit like Naruto and Bleach but I really suggest giving Hunter x Hunter(2011) a try, as the chimera arc is one of the best arcs in animes ever, and for real you haven't seen FMA: Brotherhood yet? common).

Now onto the review:
I find it hilarious that you think the anime should feel like the real world, when it is set in the future. I mean it's SF. And you think their tech is laughable but steins;gate's microwave time travel machine is not ? :)) (Steins;gate still it's base though). But I have to say one of my main gripes is that you have not seen the entire series yet. I really hate it when people make a review of an entire series, before it's even out in it's entirety. If you were to make review for an episode, I would totally understand it, but I don't think one can have a 100% accurate view of a show if you haven't seen all of it. IF you read the manga then I will give you a break because you know the story and you mostly have to assess the art only.

Have a nice day! ^_^

Based on the fact that you reviewed dimension W after 2 episodes and decided that it was bad, as well as on your other reviews / anime scores, I've come to the conclusion that you have shit taste in animes. Sorry.
PetitFours Sep 24, 2014 7:51 AM
Sorry for the late reply, I don't check my page much.

On S;G Wiki they have high-res images of the main characters with transparent backgrounds, you may check it out.

Your review on Harmonie didn't touch any of the notes the anime is actually about.I think you didn't understand it fully and based your interpretation only on your personal life experiences.

:> fufu. i was thinking to reply and finally got to it.
It's great that you made your decision and did what you wanted to do. I took a year off to get things straightened out myself. during that period I kept meeting people who regret, and then concluded that it's up to the person to choose how they want to live and how they want to see their choices.

Yeah, Yuasa did a super good job with that one. I really like the way he incorporated real faces on the characters in the beginning. And that scene before he talks to God? Damn...

I see you're watching Tokyo Ghoul. I've heard good things, and I'm considering checking it out. What are your thoughts on it so far?
