My skepticism arose when I tried to comprehend how the cityscape of Ikebukuro could house such supernatural and fantasical elements and combine them with modern day themes of gang violence and love to bring together a cohesive storyline. But the creators of DRRRR!! reveals that it's not impossible. The result is a series that is not terrible, but is not worthy of a "masterpiece" title.

I throughly enjoyed this anime enough to continue it to the end, only to be disappointed with a less than satisfactory ending. If you have the right type of lead characters for a romance, especially if the leading male is downright a dream too good to be true, of course I'm going to be patient with the stupid, pointless, filler episodes that don't really relate to the overall romance story. However, if the ending episode results in not quite what you desired, and nothing revealing the family background of the hot male lead, then the ratings of the women, namely me, with the crushes on
