Ok, so I binged watched Boys Over Flowers (anime), binged the Manga, as well. So, I decided I had to suffer through this.
It's so bad. They used the name of Boys Over Flowers to tell a completely different story, in a different setting. "Alternate timeline" crap always annoys me. The only thing that this "movie" shares with the manga/anime is the name and characters. That's it. Just a way to make money and milk a little more out of the cow. The storyline was bad, and as I mentioned, the characters only LOOK like those from Boys Over ...

Welp. I made it through to the end of Episode 1, and most of 2.
Technically not incest, but it was weird. There was no real development, and it was... weird. It just made no sense. All these dudes suddenly show up, and then her stepbrother or whatever he is goes nuts and tries to rape her in her room. The end. The other guys have no real involvement with her, other than just... random commentary. Longer review for weirdness. HOW MUCH LONGER DOES IT NEED TO BE? Longer. Much longer. Oh my gosh, really. There's nothing else to say ...

So, I usually don't read manga. Ever. I prefer anime. I looked on one of those "top romance" lists and found the anime. At first the squick factor was huge for me with this one. All the blurbs refer to him as a child, and Nike as an adult.
I've been reading the scanlations. I skipped over the chapters the anime covered, and continued on. In the translation, it says on his birthday that he was turning 12 or 13. Squick went up. The idea of a 17 year old girl getting sexually attracted to a 12 ... |
