sup, i noticed you were a heavy hakusho fan like i am...i've been trying to understand what sets it apart from the others so i can persuade my friends into watching it, may i ask what your opinion on that is?

Happy birthday! As a gift, I recommend you to read my favorite manga series Rosario+Vampire seasons 1 and 2. It gets better (and darker, more mature later on) in every volume, trust me. Heck, if you enjoy how D.Gray Man and Yu Yu Hakusho progress themselves , R+V should entertain you. If Yusuke and Kurama are your favorite characters, Moka (Outer and Inner) and Mizore will likely become your favs as well (they're the most popular characters). You can read the whole series online. Let me know if you can't find it.

Thanks for the friend invite, Angelica. It appears we have some of the same tastes. I love Kurama and Konata. Tamaki's a funny guy (not surprised Haruhi fell for him) though I'm a bigger fan of Haninozuka/Honey and the Hitachiin twins.

If you're curious about another great shounen-fighting series I recommend Dragonball Z Kai. All action, no filler (just like the dvd packs say LOL). Laterz.

That was the best review on Yu Yu Hakusho I've ever read. And you got to meet Justin Cook (he's one of my favorites)! ^^ Most anime fans your age are more into Naruto and/or Bleach without any clue on some ideas borrowed from YYH (Bleach borrows more, though).
