Quick Review, Minor/no spoilers.
Story 10/10:
No Isekai has come close to how detailed and amazing Re:Zero is. If i was to think about the genre Isekai, this would be the first that would come to mind. Why? The story is amazingly well written, with little to no plotholes and going indepth about everything, even the reincarnation. The way the story flows is stunning, pacing just beautifuly and elegantly. There's romance, horror, adventure, tension, literally every emotion you can think of. When a 30 minute episode can make you laugh, smile and cry within that time slot, you know it's in another league.
Art 10/10:
White fox killing it
...
with the animation, it's so god damn beautiful. I love the little things they add, like not showing the op till ep 6(?) which was the perfect time to show it due to the contents of the episode itself. Not only that, 30min episodes that go right to the last second, even playing during the ed. This is honestly unheard of, and something that manages to show the effort and love they've been putting into Re: Zero.
Sound 10/10:
It's beautiful, the right sound used at the right times to play with your emotion. Not much to say really.
Character 10/10:
The development and characters are all loveable. Characters you hate, turn to ones you love ( Looking at you, Betelguese). Antagonists are a lot more than they originally seem, and even characters you thought were minor (otto) change the story significantly. Also Rem #1.
Subaru is an interesting character. I feel like people are too used to shounens and other isekai where the main character is absurdly op. This is different. He's more of a stragetical character and uses what he has available to think of some amazing schemes. I for one, enjoy it.
Enjoyment 10/10:
The story is 100% a bit hard to follow at times, that's probably because of the amount going on at the same time, if you were to miss a week it would 100% be hard to remember everything that happened in the previous episodes. That said, rewatching it from season 1 helped me follow it so much more better, if anything it shows the replayability the anime has. Other than that being the only so called flaw, i'm loving the 30minute episodes that leave me desiring more every week.
Overall 10/10:
Just amazing. You can just see the effort the studio has put into such a beautiful story, and that alone is more than enough. Kudos to them.
Feel free to message me with your opinions & whatnot.

Quick review, no spoilers.
Story 10/10
It's based all around the premise of war, and the way the writer does it is so beautiful, everything flows so smoothly and leaves you theorising what's going to happen next - this is how a story should be. The twists and turns in this seemingly simple story at first brings a new dimension to how beautifully writter it actually is.
Art 10/10
MAPPA did an amazing job, no questions. the transitions were so good (especially one in particular, regarding Sasha) were so beautiful. Just go see how it switches from flashbacks to reality, and how clean they made it. The
...
fight scenes are also beautiful and well executed.
Sound 10/10
Always 10/10, the OP and ED symbolises and portrays the story elegently, the war themed opening, and then the depressive ending where it feels like there is no hope, it's just...beautiful.
Character 9/10
Hmm... every character is important and plays a huge role, there isn't much here to say really without spoiling things, but the fact that there are 'minor' characters getting a lot of screentime should definately mean something.
Enjoyment 10/10
When the highlight of the week is a sunday waiting for the next episode to come out, then you know you're in love.
Overall 10/10
I'm going to go as far as saying, if i was to recommend an anime, it would be this. If i was to say which is the best anime out there, it would be this. This season in particular goes along the greats, such as code geass, cowboy bepop, one piece etc.

THIS IS A COMPLETED REVIEW OF THE MIXTURE OF LIGHT NOVELS, MOVING ONTO WEBNOVELS.
First off, i have read all of it, and will be going into detail on my thoughts regarding the story as a whole with as little spoilers as possible.
STORY: 7/10
Narrative - The story itself isn't bad, the premise of it is actually really good. It's different from other Isekai, especially how it seems he had a shit previous life and uses it to better himself in the new world. The story does have little twists to it, but overall it's fairly predictable. it seems he gets caught up by a 'human god',
...
who gives him advice at the beginning, but overall sends him on the wrong path. He then works alongside someone else (Orsted) who hates the human god and proceeds to build allies up for him. HOWEVER, it's important to note... that's it. He never actually fights the human god, nor is there a grand scale battle, nor do you meet Laplace, whom is mentioned over 100+ times about being this great villian. It felt so inconclusive. Why write so much and spend chapters on a character that's not even going to exist and is instead going to spawn 80+ years later. It felt like the writer just kinda... didnt know what direction he was going in and gave up without the possibility of a sequel.
Pacing - The pacing is my biggest gripe about the story. God damn the pacing is just awful. The best way to put it is that it felt like it was a multitude of small arcs going into a random final arc instantly. It was so random, how does he go trying to figure out how to fit in at the university to seeing himself time travel and fighting the 2nd strongest in the world, Orsted. It felt so rushed. Unlike the other reviewers, I enjoyed the slow small arcs it was going through, building the world slowly and going into indepth explanation about things such as how the currency worked. But why spend all that time on it if you're not going to persue it further? Other things included the adventurers guild, Laplace, Heaven/void/ocean continent, Zenith, Millis politics and so much more when the writer spends hours on it then just kinda... ignores it and leaves it to the generic 'it's going in the right direction, someone else will solve it in the future'..
Humour & Sexualism - As bad as people say the 'sex/ pervert scenes', it really isn't. He mentions thoughts but doesn't actually go through with any of them at all, honestly it's pretty vanilla compared to other isekai animes. He only really does things with a select few girls who are of age, which is consensual. The humour i actually quite enjoyed. It was random and funny, especially seeing the thoughts behind it. I feel like the anime of it can portray it a lot better, making it even more humourous.
ART (writing style): 6/10
Writing style: I can't say much about this due to the possiblity that the translation is so bad, But the writer spend SO MUCH TIME on meaningless things, at the point where you have to literally just scan read it due it to being so dull. An example of this is the 'magic mecha armour'. Holy shit, there was no need for over hours on end of writing just focusing on it, he could've just said something along the lines of Zanoba was working on an armour', instead of going into so much intricate detail about it. That said, the fight scenes, few as they were, especially the sword fight scenes were really fun to read. Speaking of that, the main character uses one spell, and it's so bland (earth cannon). The first few volumes focuses on Rudeus, and his progression, that it just kinda ignores it. literally just ignores the main character.
Character development: 7/10
Have you ever heard of such a thing as spending so much time on other characters, you just end up ignoring the main character? Well this is a prime example of it.
At first the focus is on Rudeus, but as the story goes on, he has everything done for him, and ends up relying on everyone else for things. It's kinda pathetic how someone with as much mana as Laplace, only uses a basic earth spell the majority of the story, gets beaten by everyone stronger than him (unless he's wearing his get out of jail magic armour) and just kinda gives up on his own training half way through the volumes.
That said, the other characters gain so much development it's crazy. Especially Eris , Zanoba and Cliff. Eris going from a crazy girl to a refined sword king, Zanoba a doll addicted miko to a caring miko, Cliff an arrogant millis priest to a humble millis leader with a hot freaky wife. But again, the story should focus on the Rudeus and his strength rather than going off on tangents randomly.
Enjoyment: 7/10
It was different compared to isekai, and the fact i finished it should definately say something. I wouldn't go as low as saying it's a 4, nor would i say it's a 10/10. It really does have some extremely enjoyable characters and a story with some nice twists to it albeit it doesn't really feel like a proper ending. Orsted and Peregius sama in particular were extremely fun to read about.
Overall 7/10.
Pros
- Story
- Characters
- Solid concept
- Some amusing moments
- Detailed swordfights
Cons
- Rock bullet
- Things leading to nowhere ( this shit was so annowing, you have no idea what it's like to read about the romance between two character to just forgotten about, about Zenith's memory not even having a cure even though there was progression to it etc)
- No real ending
- Bad writing
- Pacing... (like 15 volumes on him being 8-15, then maybe 5 when he's 20, and 3 when he's 22... it's so bad)
As someone else mentioned, it felt I was reading a fanfic of somesorts rather than a full story. The first few volumes started off so freaking good, with the world building going fine, focusing on the main character, little romance developing before suddenly delving into random stuff. It felt like the writer didn't even know where the story was going so he just wrote as he went along.
Any questions or thoughts on the story, feel free to message me! i'd love to hear your thoughts on it and if you agree or not. =)

8/10. QUICK SUMMARY - No spoilers
STORY 10/10: FOR ALL YOU NEW VIEWERS, THIS ANIME WAS NEVER ABOUT CONSTANT FIGHTING, IT'S ABOUT WORLD BUILDING. I do understand that the amount of diologue can be a lot to take in, but this anime (even from season 1) was showing the perspectives of multiple characters and how it affects all the different scenarios. It's always been a highly political show, and I for one absolutely love how deep it goes into covering every possible loophole.
Character development 10/10: the development you see is insane, this directly links into the world building. Even characters who you probably
...
thought were just 'side characters' from the previous seasons, like Eins, seem to have a huge amount going on in their heads, and it definately tries to show it.
ART 6/10: obviously not the best compared to today's standards, but definately not bad.
Music 6/10: I miss the database op, but otherwise no complaints really. not anything special.
Overall 8/10: It definitely is not a low tier anime. Some people just think of isekai animes as constant fighting etc, but this anime is more about actually integrating into a different type of society. Log Horizon has ALWAYS been about world building and leading to a big fight near the finale.

QUICK REVIEW - MINOR SPOILORS
9/10 Story - Sometimes you just want a nice simple story. Here it is about Joe going from an underground boxing ring to the tournament. With some twists here and there, it's something that is not overly complicated, and aims to focus purely on that ( no fan service, each episode having meaning to the main story).
Art 7/10 - Nothing special, very 90's like
Sound 10/10 - the OP and ED was really well made, also the raps in the middle of some episodes shows the dedication going into this anime.
Character 8/10 - Character development for all the characters is there, even
...
the kid! it's amazing seeing how the coach goes from a con to someone who genuinely cares.
Overall 9/10 - This anime did it's job, something i could recommend to any boxing fan even if they don't watch anime.

Very quick review! Minor Spoilers ( although the majority of this show is dictated by season 1 episode 23).
7/10 Story: this really annoyed me. it felt like for 20 episodes Okabe did nothing and then suddenly he realizes, that 'oh no the fate of the world is in my hands'. This show definitely would've been so much better if it was capped at 12 episodes, rather than being unnecessarily dragged on.
The story itself was over complicated for no reason with random twists that really weren't needed. However the fact that it is a midquel to steins:gate saved it - as it explains the events
...
of Okabe changing his past self with the d-mail during the first season entering steins:gate.
9/10 Art: Art was nice and fluid, no complaints there.
9/10 Sound: The op/ed was very unique and sounded really amazing. My favorite would be the first half's ED.
8/10 Character: The character development and screen time was really well balanced out among all the lab members. However it did get tedious with Okabe ( referring back to the story point) how he kept ignoring mayushi. LIKE YOU JUST SACRIFICED KURISU FOR HER, AND YOU GO BACK TO IGNORING HER FOR 20 EPISODES.
8/10 Overall: It was enjoyable to watch though. and definitely gets extremely good near the end after grinding out the slug fest start.
After watching it all, i'm so shocked this is rated as highly as it is. it really wasn't anything special, i'd say high 7 low 8, but 8.5+? nah. it's definitely not that good sadly.

Quick Review! - Very minor Spoilers:
A VERY UNDERRATED ANIME SPRING 2018. READ THE REVIEW AND WATCH IT.
-----------------------------------------
Story 8/10: Story, not anything special, about 3 girls from an alien land that have the power of telekinesis and are friends primarily focused around Hina and her caregiver, Nitta. However the interactions between them are extremely hilarious to an audience of all ages and with sad moments at times that really get you in the feels.
Art 10/10: Absolute stunning. This anime, which is not even a fighting anime but a slice of life, manages to produce better fighting scenes than a lot of fighting animes -
...
hopefully this puts it into perspective of how lovely the art is.
Sound 10/10: One of the few anime where i don't skip the OP, instead humming along to it! the sound within the anime is near perfect - it's hard to find faults in any scene.
Character 9/10: Even the minor characters have their stories, there's not many questions unanswered, of how such and such a random character appeared here. The development of the characters, especially Anzu, is so beautiful, and a lesson can be learned from them to apply in real life.
Overall 9/10: Stunning. Definitely most underrated anime this season, full of happy, funny, sad and enjoyable moments. Give it a try, the first episode will keep you hooked till the last.

Shingeki no Bahamut, a sequel to Genesis. Oh boy. The hype was real when i heard it was coming out, as i didn't expect a second season. This is my review after watching all the episodes. (Very little spoilers)
Story: 6/10
The story ( Not giving too much away) was very... complicated. Based around Nina, a girl who can transform into a dragon with demons, angels and humans thrown into the mix. Sounds lovely right? The first half of the season was paced quite nicely, so why do i
...
give the story 6/10?
The second half was lacklustre. From a nice, consistent and smooth plot, immediately it begins to take a twist into the realms of mind fuckery. Truth was at first i was like "wow, i did not expect this". But god did it feel so unnecessary as it inevitably led me to wonder why they didn't do it in such and such a way (Plot holes). The ending itself was very rushed, almost as though they clamped the jigsaw puzzle down together in the last 2 episodes... even then it felt incomplete. They also decided to follow the narrative story telling approach randomly during the second half.
Art: 10/10
The art honestly was very beautiful. Every scene was magical. The transitions between different scenes flowed smooth like the ocean. One scene in particular ( the dancing scene ) really catches my eye.
Sound: 8/10
Of course, it's very rare that a sequel manages to live up to it's prequel in the case of an OP/ED. Many people seem to not like it, personally, I found it quite nice to listen to, even if it didn't live up to the prequel.
Character: 7/10
Focusing on Nina and Charioce, character development was 10/10 for them (not going to spoil anything). HOWEVER, i wish they focused on the side characters more (such as Rita and Kaisar) , which again they rarely did in the second half. This is to be expected by viewers to want more from Favaro and Kaisar, even though the show isn't based around them, they ARE still the main characters from the prequel.
Overall: 8/10
It never did live up the prequel, mainly with consistency throughout the anime.
Many plot holes.
It's still one of the better anime this season.
Fun to watch, very unique anime.
The art is so beautiful
I cried, i laughed, i smiled. that's an 8/10 from me =)
Take care and have a good day!@

Let me start off by saying this - I have no idea how to feel about this anime, and others who have watched may feel the same, let me tell you why (No spoilers):
Story: 6..
It's a fate/ anime. This is probably the main reason i'm actually even giving it a 6, having watched a majority of the fate series. However, this one feels extremely lacklustre with a lack of organising events that happen ( This links into Art, as i'll explain soon). At points it feels as though the pace is fast, and the next scene suddenly seems so slow, you can
...
see this quite clearly in episode 7, where it feels like random scenes put together and labelled as an 'anime'.
Art: 6
Honestly, i just don't see it working for Fate/Apocrypha. It's acceptable, for sure. But it doesn't seem to fit the Fate/ story, if you get my gist of what i'm saying. Compare it to how UFOtable produced the anime, and i'm sure not only I , but others will feel how it is more visually enhacing, leaving you craving for more. Ofcourse, A-1 pictures is a good studio, but i just don't see it fitting this style of anime.
Sound: 4
To put it simply, the sound was pretty shit. Definitely felt like a repetition of noises which you zone out after a while (such as Berserker saying grr over and over again).
Character: 4
This is probably the main aspect i'm dissapointed in. Assuming Fate/ Apocrypha is 24 episodes, the character development just isn't there, purely focusing on Jeanne and Seig. There are many lovely concepts from both sides, such as Shirou, but instead they bypass mysterious characters with a brief introduction of them.
Not only this, but the genrerbender is getting annoying now. With Fate/ Stay , the saber being female was quite a nice surprise, but it had lore to it. Here, they put Jack the ripper as a female? seriously? Now i'm questioning whenever a new character came up post meeting the assassin if it's male or female.
Enjoyment: 5
Not much to say here, i'm honestly watching it because of the story, and it's part of the Fate Series.
Overall: 5
I think the correct word would be disappointing, to say the least. There was some hype coming into this anime, and it let me down. However it is still only 7 episodes at this current point in time, and we may get to know more about the characters, so lets keep our fingers crossed!
Note: Sorry if i did anything wrong, it's my first review :) Will update as i go along.
