Both are very sad and emotional shows. The main characters both go through a depression of sorts and develop throughout the story. While Clannad is better because of Charlotte's bad pacing, Charlotte is definitely still worth a watch.

Both are an isekai harem where the mc is somewhat overpowered. They also both have "labyrinths", monsters to fight, and magic. Mushoku Tensei is like a toned-down version of Arifureta with fewer women and a less op main character.

In both light novels, the mc is overpowered, there are revenge arcs, and the mc looks really cool. 100% recommend, especially if you like Arifureta but not the harem.

These two are really similar. They are both somewhat sad and pull off a comedic result sometimes which is amazing for that type of anime. Much like Clannad, Angel Beats delves into the lives of side characters often and the main character helps relieve their shoulders of the burdens they were carrying before. They are both great shows and have great audio soundtracks.
