say I started this show not knowing really anything about it except its rating and its synopsis. I expected to not like it since imo isekai is the worst genre of anime. But considering the rating I expected it to at least be watchable and I don’t have anything better to watch at the moment.

I wouldn’t say this was bad necessarily but I’m pretty shocked it’s rated so highly. I think there’s two kind of ways a story can be good. It can be good like a marvel movie or it can be good as a real piece of art (I don’t have an example because that’s different for everybody). If you've seen Tokyo Revengers this show is nearly identical. Except where Tokyo Revengers doesn’t try to be anything more than the anime equivalent of a good Marvel movie, Erased wants you to think it’s something more mature than that. The dialogue, cinematography, and characters are great. -5 points for pedo mc.
If the director and/or original author (I don't know who's responsible for the loli shit) didn't deserve to be in prison it'd be an 8 or 9 out of 10. Only thing stopping it from being perfect: I can't really take any harem anime seriously. Especially when it's a "nice guy" fantasy. Which is a shame because everything else about it is perfect.
