Buddy Daddies is basically if specifically episode four of balance unlimited became a full anime series. I mean they even feature one of the main characters sleeping in the bathtub.

I Woke Up as the Villain

Homoerotic subtext between the original ML and the MC? Waking up in a novel you read? Suddenly being forced to become more than a minor antagonist? Abusing the fact that MC reincarnated into a rich novel character and saying "Hmm money is the best..."? MC just wanted to live as a slacker after securing their death flags?? Main difference is that LoCF takes place in a fantasy setting, I Woke Up as the Villain takes place in a RPG/Hunter-Dungeon setting

SSS-Class Revival Hunter
add

Both takes place in a "Hunter" world where hunters are people with special abilities who try to clear dungeons by defeating monsters in them, like an RPG-like system come to life. Particularly both series are a power fantasy about an underdog protagonist who must prove themselves against society; particularly both feature very corrupt "hunters" often as antagonists

Initially antagonistic co-worker relationship -> actually end up liking each other (enemies to lover vibes? spiteful co-workers to lovers? something like that.)

I'm not sure why I've never heard back from either of my kids after sending them to boarding school. I keep waiting to hear back, but I never get a call or even a letter. Oh well; parenting is a lot of work, anyways...

Jumyou wo Kaitotte Moratta. Ichinen ni Tsuki, Ichimanen de.

Both stories are about making the best out of a bad situation, questioning the objectivity of happiness and two companions enjoying each other's company despite everything else.

Fumetsu no Anata e
add

Both are about immortal main characters going on a journey. People come and go, there are two main companions in Majo no Shinzou whereas Fumetsu no Anata e switches around. Majo no Shinzou is definitely more lighthearted than Fumetsu no Anata e, but it definitely doesn't take away from the story.

Hinamatsuri

Okay, so hear me out. These two plots are COMPLETELY different when you hear about them: Kyousougiga is a story about a strange family of gods and revolves around a man who was able to make his paintings come to life while Hinamatsuri is about a telepath who lands in a yakuza man's house and inadvertently becomes a sort of daughter to him. But the strong themes of found family is so strong in both of these animes. That's how they both shine in their own genre and how they become so heartwarming. Hina and Inari are both people who hold TREMENDOUS gifts of power but both shows make a point of the importance and value of our relationships to other people and family.

It’s time to ditch the text file.
