True enough, as the other reviewer said, this manga is simply love or hate. Either you like it or you love it. And it is pretty obvious, I belong to the ones who hate this manga.
Koi no Kawaki directs to the emotional appeal of the person reading it. That love and relationship is not just for two person involved in it, it can be for more. It says that love is complex and is a bittersweet situation, and sometimes even selfish, as in the case of Yuka getting three men all at the same time.
The mangaka tries to reason why she did this and that,

This is a really good manga to read. Though it is not yet scanlated completely.
It was funny at the right places, the art is something you'll love, definitely smexy and has a plot to boot. Mainly, in all these 11 volumes, the focus is Raizou and Kon in the supernatural world of kamis, the paper dolls used to receive and heal the wounds inflicted by the master, through exchanging of bodily fluids. Even though somewhat strange and if one isn't familiar with Japanese terms, the story can be easily understood as the rest of the chapters pass by. Moreover, this manga really has all for it also ... I'm torn if it is good or bad.
The plot itself is very twisted. The atmosphere is so dark. The story revolves around obsessive love. The love of a boy for a girl to the point of killing, a brother complex, a girl in love with her girl best friend, mother's love to the point of committing suicide just so her child won't separate from her. And yeah, the characters are just as crazy as well. But if it's anything, even though it's like this, you can't just stop yourself from reading to know what's more. What will happen? What's the extent of their obsessiveness? And another ... May 31, 2012

I really love it. It was nice, and has all the elements just right.
The story is good, the art is well-drawn. And the characters are very lovable. Especially Fubuki-kun. It was very enjoyable, plus it's only short so it wouldn't take up too much time to read. I recommend reading this if you don't have anything to read. It's definitely worth the time. May 31, 2012
Well, if you are just looking for some yaoi to read through, this one's nice.
Actually it is kinda good. It's only 9 chapters, and it's a collection of one-shots. Every story has a nice, cute plot so you wouldn't get bored reading it. Though it's not a priority to read, it's still worthwhile reading it. :) Apr 30, 2012

I encountered this novel right after I finished reading the novel counterpart of 1/2 Prince manhua (at www.princerevolution.org). And I started reading it, and all hail, I liked it! The story is different from what I usually read, the typical shojo mangas... but I was surprised when I was hooked by this story until I can't get enough!
This is freakin' hilarious. So if you want to laugh, go read this one. The main character, the Sun Knight, has this split personality (the one he IS required to do and say being the Sun Knight, and his hidden personality, the one he truly feels). Because of ... Apr 23, 2012
This manga is definitely a good read.
The story itself is unique and exquisite. It will make you hooked and captivated to read it until the end, plus it has a rereadable value. :) I even cried, a lot for that matter, in the end. :'( And if you're looking for fun and humor, this manga has it. I remember many times laughing my heart out coz the gag's really funny. And you will also love the characters. Also, this is, in no way, yaoi or shounen ai. Though others are being mistaken because Serena was reincarnated as a boy. Please, do read this. It was nice! ... |
