*SPOILERS AHEAD*
I started Mirai Nikki after reading the top reviews. I gave this anime a chance even though people said it was bad or mediocre. And after finishing the anime Im sad to say but I agree with them.
Plot:
It started off well. The plot was clear and I knew what was going on. But after the middle part of the series towards the end everything was so messy I tried my hardest to understand everything thats going on. By just watching the anime, I wouldnt have known what the heck happened because everything was so face paced after the middle area of the anime.
...
I had to resort to episode summaries after watching each episode just so I can understand the plot. There were also some parts of the anime that I had to wonder "This is so stupid..." because of how plainly stupid and unlogical the part was.
Art:
The character designs are probably the best thing in terms of art. The background is just awful. Especially the cars and certain objects depicted in the anime. It looked very weird and out of place when characters appeared with a background behind them. Some backgrounds were good like some outside ones but most of them were just plain and horrible.
Character:
The characters in Mirai Nikki were made realistic in terms of the way they think. At the beginning, Yuki was a crybaby and was scared all the time but I understood that since he was still a 14 year old put in a sudden and dangerous situation. But towards the end, there was no character development for his personality except for when his parents died. But overall he was just a stupid character that I really questioned his motives most of the time. He believes way too much and me being the same age as him just doesnt make sense. I know that everyone is different, but I wont expect a anime to show me a crybaby as the man character when you could've made him more logical even by a tiny bit. One example of Yuki's stupidity and naiveness is when he was betrayed so many times he still believed them and even though he was suspicious of his dad killing his mother, I just saw him laughing with his dad on good terms after his mother died. It was unreasonable.
Sound:
The only thing I can note about sound is the voice actor of Yuno. I could feel her personality through her voice and it was really good. But I never listened to the openings or ending songs so I cant rate it.
Overall:
I started this anime by giving it a 7 but after finishing it I turned it into a 5. Mainly because of the bad art and messy plot that just lost me in the end. I wouldnt recommend this anime to anyone unless you dont mind the art style, excluding the character designs, and the bad plot pacing.

I started the show with great expectations, the synopsis had grabbed my attention and the first few episodes were pretty good. But everything went downhill after episode 12, in my opinion. I originally thought the show would be focused on Yoshio's past and why he has his powers/ability to not die. But no. It started out well, explaining the situation and pacing the story in a nice pace. But after that, the story was focused all on Akechi's side. I didn't expect it, and I disliked it.
The show hadn't made me grow to like any character yet, and then it gave me this whole conflict
...
of Akechi and his brother along with a whole city all together for many episodes. I didn't shed a single tear or feel sad for the main character.
After that arc, the story began focusing on the leader of the detective club and his issues which led to the final climax of the whole story. Not enough screen time was given to Yoshio, whom I thought was the main point of the series. Instead, it was focused on the leader of the club and his background and conflicts with others. Sure, there was an episode where Yoshio got to feel pain, and another episode where we finally got to know his past which got me really excited. But that was all. Even Yoshio said himself that he didn't want to learn more about his past which might fit his personality, but I was sad about it.
I thought the story would be focused on Yoshio and the club solving cases together, but I was wrong. Since I started the series with this mindset, I didn't grow to care for the other characters, thus ruining the whole show for me. But even still, I did watch the series all the way to the end and honestly, it was mediocre. I'm not gonna lie, its not the best, but its also not the worst. I believe the score MAL users gave for this anime was worth it. And that's why I also gave this anime a 6.

To be honest, this was the best slice of life anime I have ever watched. It bought together comedy and seriousness into the story which made it well-balanced.
One key point that was well made in the anime was the character development. Since the cast was quite small, the main characters all had excellent personality change throughout the story. I could remember their names and personalities very clearly and even though Heine doesnt have much emotions shown through his face or in the story, I could still feel like his personality/person in general was complete.
Although I dont think the opening song was catchy to me,
...
I liked the ending song in the final episode, it made me feel happy and sad at the same time since the story is ending. One con though, is the similarity in the voices of the characters. Even though I know the characters by their faces and names, its hard to distinguish them by their voices. It seems to me that Heine had a few similar voices in the same anime.
Although there were pros and cons in this story, I still enjoyed it throughout. Everything was well-paced and balanced. I hope this review was somewhat useful to you. :)

The anime was great, but definitly not the best. What made me not enjoy the anime as much as my other favorites, was the characters.
First of all, the plot development was great, the opening song was very catchy and I liked it. But the female main character, Elizabeth was a complete disappointment. If she cant fight, then at least dont stand in the middle of the battle yelling the male lead's name a hundred times. Her personality and actions 90% of the time annoyed me. She was mere useless in the whole season, and couldn't contribute at all to any of the fights. I never
...
liked these types of characters in any anime, male or female. If Elizabeth had been more useful in the anime and less annoying, I would have enjoyed it more than a 8 for overall score.
Secondly, I found this anime while searching for op mc anime. And to put it simply, I couldnt quite see that the male lead was overpowered. He may have not lost a fight, but to me, he wasnt as strong as the other main characters. Either way, that didnt bother me from enjoying the fight scenes during the anime.
Lastly, Nanatsu no Taizai had a few mistakes/things that annoyed me, but its alright for a show as a whole. I liked the main plot, and is currently watching the 3rd season. I just wish we could get more insight on the male lead's actual thoughts because I remember most of the time watching the anime I never understood what he was doing during the fights or why he did what he did until the end of the fight where the other characters explained his actions. Thats all.

This is my first time writing a review so please bear with me. At first when I saw this anime, I didnt think it was that interesting. But once I started watching even the first episode, it grabbed my attention just like how No Game No Life did. This is by far my favorite anime of all time next to NGNL.
Story-10: I really liked how the story of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime started and escalated. Its like accompanying Rimuru with his adventure that no one knows the ending of. Sure, there's no climax or big goal in the season, but
...
I'm sure something will happen in Season 2. I still liked how the story progressed for me.
Art-10: I was amazed at the art of this anime. Mostly because this was quite new and I just liked the style of everything. (I'm not good at describing things so I'm sorry if this wasn't any help.)
Sound-9: The opening song and ending song were good, but it didn't really stand out to me so I gave it a 9. Nonetheless, it didn't bother that the story itself was good.
Character-10: The character development was pretty good even though there were so many side characters in the anime. Each time the main character(Rimuru) met someone new, we would get an episode of their backstory while the story progresses. And I thought that it was pretty good since whenever a supporting character dies or changes for the good, I felt sad or happy about it.
Overall-10: I really enjoyed this anime, as you can see. Its really well written even with the small details that I noticed throughout the whole anime. The whole concept of the fantasy world was also explained pretty well in my opinion. I hope I persuaded you to watch this anime, since its really good. But if not, then oh well. :)
