- Death games where almost everyone dies - Weird aliens killing everyone (beat them to stay alive) - HIGH gore content Although in my opinion, Kamisama is based on more of a brain game in which you have to think to win while Gantz is more fighting with guns and brute force, the two are very similar.

Both animes have people getting into massive robots and fighting off aliens that come from outer space. Both set in the future.

Although freezing has a significant amount of fanservice, they are overall similar and remind you of each other

Both mangas have creatures that are the enemies of humanity and female warriors that fight them with parts of them implanted within them that act as their source of power which of course when overused, turns you into one the creatures.

Both animes a=have similar elements and a similar feel to them. They are basically about the protagonist fighting with an partner (avatar/asset) that lives in a card for something that they really want in another dimension. Their wins and losses affect the real world and we learn that losses have some terrible consequences. As the stories progress, they become darker.
