What is so good about it?

Hand-eye is a big part to any sport. Seeing where your opponent is moving or attacking while trying to block and counter is important. You did archery? Thats awesome! I want to try archery so badly!

Lmao yea thats pretty damn far. Well if you ever happen to be in town lol, stop by. We have a few members from Japan that fly in sometimes and join us.

I've been practicing Kendo for a little less than a year, but I have yet to have knee problems (knock on wood).

I add a lot to my watch list too. I like having a big pool to choose out of when I finish one but those are ones I highly recommend.

Actually Kendo is not that tough on your knees. I posted this on the Kendo fan page, but the only thing in kendo that is highly stressful on your knees is fumikomi. Everything else pretty much your calves, theighs, and lower back. One of my members does use a knee brace but he started that after he practiced Iaido for a few years. Depending where youre located, you can drop by sometime to practice with my club sometime at SIUC (Southern Illinois University Carbondale).

Hey there. I also plan to move to Japan after I finish college so it is nice to find someone with the same goal and interest. I recommend you watch Clannad, Clannad After Story, Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari, and Itazura na Kiss. Clannad is highly popular. Isekai is an awesome mecha. Itazura is a pretty funny romance/comedy/drama.

About your "Koichoco" review:

1. A mysterious event, resulting in murder
2. Modern Japan
3. The protagonist being woken up by his female childhood friend in bed with him
4. A high school
5. Schoolgirls
6. Panty-shots (censored, so not ideal, but dvd's will remedy that)
7. A random hot looking teacher that begins the school day by drinking beer in front of students, and proclaiming 'if it was a problem, they'd have fired me by now'
8. The protagonist seeing 'things' on people nobody else can see
9. Girls are cute looking, clingy, clumsy, and clearly all interested in the protagonist to some degree
10. Most female anime character stereotypes are met - the cute junior who refers to herself in the 3rd person, the quiet wierd looking socially inept one, the calm and beautiful sociopath, the posessive but dismissive childhood friend etc etc.

The things you've mention, for the most part are common clique in a Jap anime, btw overall nice review.
