Very similar settings. No. 6 is like Ergo Proxy in cuter, brighter and more colorful, unfortunately also more childish and simplistic. Ergo Proxy is darker, cooler, weirder, more mature.

both are Shintoism Slice of Life Comedy series. Kamichu is the better one.

Both are surprisingly dark and mature magical girl series, in which a lot of thought has been given to the story. Madoka seems to be even darker, but Tutu is definitely worth watching as well. Both have very good soundtracks, too.

both have a similar surrealistic style (especially the zombie designs and Opening Animation) and setting, fighting against monsters, mixing of comedy and seriousness, very good animation etc.

When I started reading (and watching) Angel Beats, I immediately thought of "After School Nightmare". These series have a very similar setting, in which the characters are inside some kind of school that looks normal but is not. They have to fight, they have to find their "true self" and they disappear without anybody knowing what happens to them. While Angel Beats has a lot of comedy, After School Nightmare has more suspense and dramatic moments as well as romance ... and in general ASN is one of the best mangas out there. Highly recommended.

"Utawarerumono" is one of the many other works of Japanese fantasy to have been inspired by the "Guin Saga". The similarities are obvious ^^

According to Kentaro Miura "Guin Saga" has been his major inspiration when creating the Berserk manga series.

Another fantasy story by the same author, Noriko Ogiwara. Good witch of the West has a western setting, while Dragon Sword and Wind Child is clearly Japanese, but both are good reads with many interesting characters.

If you liked Minami-ke add

...then you might like Uchi no 3 Shimai add

The art style is completely different, but apart from that the series are quite similar. Both are about the daily life of 3 sisters, only in the case of Uchi no 3 shimai they are a bit younger and rather than friends and other family members it's their parents "suffering" from them. Both series are really funny and light hearted imho.
