This series is so monotonous and flat that the only way it has to convey the emotions of its characters is through words, this series doesn't trust you as a reader/viewer and your ability to read between the lines, it tries to be emotional most of the time through words and that feels so artificial and forced at the same time, the emotions of the main character and his progress/development in only 20 episodes is excellent as well as the communication with his parents, in my opinion that's the only thing that is really worth it.
Words are not enough to express how good something or
...
someone is, this is the main problem of the series and the main reason why I couldn't connect with it.
If you want to know what I'm talking about I recommend Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu which unlike Kaoru Hana, defines its characters through actions, small details and uses words when necessary to give you that emotional slap you didn't know you needed.

My problem with Oshi no Ko has always been the same.
Being totally honest the plot that grabbed me was the unknown behind Ai's murder and aqua's revenge, despite having some weird stuff like reincarnation and not touching that topic again (For the time being) The show does a splendid job judging the entertainment world and gives way to an interesting narrative where revenge is involved, but unfortunately this is a fact that is worked very little to almost null in the series, although it does a great job showing us a realistic perspective of how it is lived inside, I feel that the “real” plot
...
of the series is not executed correctly, also it uses the typical love triangle as a dramatic means and although there is nothing wrong with it, I think it is not appropriate when we talk about a possible revenge and a murder behind, even so I think my problem with the first season was precisely that since the series seemed to give more importance to the silly love dramas than to the narrative that mainly caught me.
In this season it seems that there is more of the same, the truth is that I am liking it a little more than the first season and I have heard that this arc is considered the climax of the work or the best it has to offer, I think they are cooking something strong and that is why I am liking it more, I hope they focus more on the main characters (I think it will be so according to rumors, I do not read the manga) and that the plot goes where it really should go, so far it is doing things right and although it is the same as the first season it seems that this time something big is coming.
Let's see what it has in store for us later on, I

A different romance, finally something different away from the usual with a deep, slow and steady narrative.
Honestly given the direction and the way the show progresses I had high expectations on it, it seems to be one of those shows that speak for themselves and you have to give them time to get involved in their story, the main characters are the best of the show obviously and with a realistic perspective they manage to communicate and form a relationship first as step-siblings, although the idea may seem strange, after the last episode and the way they delve into the protagonists, you come to the
...
conclusion that they are very similar people and gradually you can feel that genuine bond, possibly raise my score but I have to say that I was quite impressed and exceeded my expectations with only 3 episodes, I will have to see how it will develop from now on and how the protagonists will overcome their adversities, I must say that the direction of the program is majestic although I would like your animation or character design was better, even so it is very enjoyable thanks to being one of those works that depend more on its narrative and characters than its animation itself, very surprised with the program and I hope it continues to improve.
I considered giving it a 9 but I think it's too early, if things continue as well as they have so far I will raise my rating, highly recommended if you want a different romance with a realistic perspective and narrative that promises to be interesting and deep.

I don't have much to say about it, I think that at first I applied the sono bisque doll, fan service to get attention and be in everyone's mouth, as a marketing medium that works and it's a fact, however narratively it leaves a lot to be said and it's only confirmed with the premiere of the third episode, the way in which the girl falls in love with the MC seems to me anticlimactic and unrealistic, it is a good concept but it was worked very fast and that makes it very monotonous to my taste, the cliche that I thought it avoided in
...
the beginning was reborn again (love triangle) and that little by little is condemning this work, a shame because it has a good production and character design.
Even so, I want to believe that it will improve throughout the episodes and I hope with all my heart that they don't resort to excessive or very explicit fan service or incestuous morbidness like episode 2 to fill the huge narrative gap that left long, anyway not everything is bad and it seems that they will delve into the MC and the past with his family.
Most likely I will finish it and if that is the case, I will write a better worked review.

I don't see the need to get too technical or nitpicky with this series, objectively it leaves something to be desired and that's a fact, however the way it gets ridiculous and incoherent is appropriate, this series doesn't try to be serious in the least and its narrative/story and characters make it very clear, a series to turn your brain off and not think too much about it, surprisingly entertaining given the direction of the series, the events that happened and the charisma of the characters that being generic are emblematic enough to not bore you, I was impressed how entertaining it was despite not
...
having outstanding moments talking about its characters, MC and narrative and having a somewhat fast pace and not very memorable, don't expect much objectively speaking of a work like this that in the end is nothing more than a meaningless parody of the isekai genre, recommended if you want to laugh a while.
Something I quite liked was the realistic perspective of an MC who is transported to another world, Kazuma and his hatred for not being the typical broken isekai protagonist starting from the bottom actually makes the work more interesting, in the end it's nothing more than a fantasy parody with a comic touch, very good.
Overrall: 8/10
As I mentioned its narrative or characters leave something to be desired, however the rhythm of the series makes the show more enjoyable and enjoyable, the charisma of the characters and how different they are make the show go up a level and being a parody show you can't ask for more, it fulfills its role of entertaining very well and its animation/music is decent anyway, although I think that's the least important thing really.

A calm season unlike the previous ones, although it is a breath of fresh air, the action is almost null but that last episode... is so peak.
Many say that from this point the story becomes mediocre and repetitive, I know very well that this is the case and even though it lacks narrative and story, let's remember that it is ufotable who gave life to this work, the soul and love they put into the animation is unique talking about anime in general.
- A quiet season with little action, a breather.
- it was enjoyable and even more so after that last episode.
7/10

I didn't expect much from this show since it's a cliche and generic show so it's not that impressive or remarkable, but surprisingly it kept me watching every episode, even though it doesn't have a very interesting narrative (because they don't go deep into it) and its characters are generic and not that interesting, the animation, direction and music definitely made the show more enjoyable and entertaining, objectively it has many flaws and uses a lot of the typical flashbacks and power ups to give impact to some scenes where just by remembering the protagonist or some characters magically improve and do their thing, it's
...
not bad but it lacked more depth and I see it little worked/forced.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the typical tropes as long as they are used well, worked enough to make the narrative less heavy and more interesting, this is obviously not the case but as I say, the animation, music and direction made the show more enjoyable without a doubt.
If you want epic action scenes and a good amount of well animated battles this work is for you, if you expect a story/narrative well done and argued or interesting enough to stand out above the same genre as well as complex or well written and therefore interesting characters, Kaiju No. 8 is not the case.
Still it was enjoyable, it's fine to pass the time.

Bocchi the rock narrates a realistic perspective with a funny touch from the point of view of Bocchi, the main character. From the beginning we are told that he suffers from social anxiety and that it has affected his life considerably, so he decides to form a band and learn to play the guitar to be popular and overcome his insecurities.
From the first moment I found it an interesting and deep plot, I thought that the fusion of comedy and social anxiety would not go hand in hand but I was surprised to see how entertaining it was, also adding excellent direction, animation and a
...
lot of references.
Let's talk about the main MC, Hitori Goto. Seeing how she slowly breaks her shell and starts the journey to be a better person is rewarding, her character is well done enough to be original and never bore the viewer, her friends on the other hand, or secondary characters as you want to call them, fulfill their role.
They help the protagonist gain confidence and show empathy and understanding which is the most important thing.
I highly recommend it, very enjoyable.

A decent series.
To be honest, it wasn't too bad. It uses the typical premise of popular girl and antisocial boy, just by that it is easy to deduce that it can go very well or very bad, here it is handled decently but the interesting thing is that it seems not to focus on romance as a key point, while it easily falls into that category, its premise focuses more on cosplay as the main theme, using it as a means of bonding for the interactions and relationship of the main characters, while there is minimal development concerning their relationship, it is very minimal so
...
I think it is not worth mentioning.
I don't want to be too hard on this work, but it has more negative points than positive unfortunately so I will name the most important ones.
- MARIN: From the first episode she is terribly constructed, she is the classic stereotype of otaku girl, fetishist and shameless who does whatever she wants without shame or glory, I understand her being a rebellious teenager and all that, in fact I think the popularity she received in part is due to her personality and how straightforward she is, but I'm sorry, as I say, I only see a stereotype like many others and MARIN does not show a minimum of development, there is only a minimal evolution in terms of her feelings for the protagonist, but as I said before, by focusing more on cosplay than romance, it is a base that I see unreal and little worked. (I invite you to see how Marin acts with the protagonist in episode 1, if you compare it with the last ones she acts exactly the same).
- THE WORST OF THE SERIES IS UNDOUBTEDLY: THE EXCESSIVE FANSERVICE.
I don't really care about fanservice, as long as it's healthy and not used as a morbid means to get attention, however.... At this point I don't want to be too specific, but it's easy to see how the series uses that extroversion that Marin has as a teenager to sexualize her in the slightest, the series sells and is popular because it paints her as the girl that any man without female affection or self love wants, unfortunately it's like that because her character has no point to defend, lacks narrative or depth and focuses more on being a mirror reflecting the superficial desires of a stinky otaku.
The ROMCOM genre is my second favorite, I really enjoy it despite the garbage that comes out lately, some works really take advantage of the potential that this genre has and don't need generic tropes and stereotypes for their excellence, however.... Sono bisque doll is unfortunately not the case.
If I'm being so harsh, why am I recommending it and rating it a 7/10?
The only POSITIVE thing I really liked about the show is "Wakana Gojo", the main MC.
- While it's easy to deduce that he suffers from social anxiety due to a childhood trauma, the presence of Marin, the main character, changes him little by little and he starts to gain self-confidence, it's the biggest point he lacks and the play takes advantage of that by deepening in character, showing a slow and minimal evolution but it's there.
However, not everything is rosy unfortunately.... His development and part of originality fall apart because of Marin and his "extroverted" personality, honestly, I find his character well worked but it is annoying to see how he is reduced to a nobody because of Marin and his personality, making him uncomfortable at all times because of his physique and the show takes advantage of that to generate more morbidity and destroy the built foundations of his character. I can't focus on his development when most of the show he is blushing and nervous about his classmate's actions. While he is aware of his attitudes and how pathetic he looks, he changes greatly if we are talking about confidence, but he still acts like a mediocre kid, and is like that most of the show ruining the development and potential I originally saw in his character.
- I understand that he is a teenager with anxiety and that it is normal to act like that at his age, but when he seems to show a change the show again unites him in the misery of being horny for his partner, it is not his fault, as I say it is the fault of the show in general and how it is made to specifically generate morbidity, but honestly, I think it could have been much better.
7/10, In today's society superficiality reigns and that's why I recommend it, it has good animation, direction and nice romantic scenes, it's good to pass the time.

Ignoring the fact that an almost 30 year old Doctor is obsessed with a 16 year old teenage girl, it is a captivating and promising start, however the series after its second episode takes a huge dip in content.
It continues to criticize the entertainment industry in a good way and puts us in the shoes of young promises that go through problems due to the industry, in some episodes the content explained is TOO heavy so in the end it means nothing and does not mark a before and after in the story.
But the plot that got me and I'm sure many others too
...
was the revenge and the unknowns behind AI's murder, at that point the series falters too much, it runs very slow or is almost null in the rest of the episodes, there is romance and therefore opens the doors to love triangles and typical teen romcom drama. The ROMCOM genre is one of my favorite, but being objective, here it seems a bit forced to me not because it's poorly written but because I see it as unnecessary given the actual premise of the series.
There's nothing wrong with the teen drama and the typical tropes of love affairs and love triangles, but it seems to be the only highlight of the series leaving behind more interesting and deeper things, that's why I can't help but think it's just another episode of Kaguya-Sama, the series seems to strongly criticize the entertainment industry but I felt it gave more importance to nonsense like romance and that doesn't look very good in a series with such an interesting premise and revenge as an abrupt element..
The romance and teen drama ruin the true potential of the series, it's like it resorts to the usual and forgets its true value, I'm actually kind of disappointed.
Talking about the production in general, it is flawless in every episode. Excellent direction, animation and music, no complaints at all.
