I heard they guy who's voicing him is the author's brother and she based Shougo on him. That's cool if it's true.

Btw I was reading bl the other day and there was that thing where the seme turned into part of the background and you only could see his hands on the uke's body. I dunno, maybe it's a pretty common thing in bl.

Oh yeah Sailor Moon, I didn't think about that, maybe that's where they got it from. Or maybe it's common in anime? I haven't seen enough series yet to be able to tell. I always liked that in Sailor Moon though. But now that I think about it it's also censorship cuz she's naked when she swings that magic stick around and sprinkles herself with magic fairy moondust or whatever it is. Izumi ain't no magical girl tho.

I don't know where they got the idea from, but at least it's creative I quess (since they can't show the glorious blowjobs anyway) and yes I will definitely let you know what I think after reading because it's been a while since I've read a good BL manga.

Irregular updates are one of the things I hate most in BL franchise because I can't stand waiting for another chapter to update. But I'll give Super Lovers a try, thanks so much for answering all those weird questions!

I'm Kate! Are you enjoying the blue-skied shounen ai censorship in Love Stage? Also I see you're reading Super Lovers and lemme just ask..........(get ready) Is it really as good as everyone says? Because it's so loong, and do they ever do the deed? And is it shota? And does it have a genuinely good plot that'll make me forget it's BL? Is it being updated regularly or is it on hiatus (if I were to read it, does it end in cliffhanger)? I read the first chapter long time ago and liked the mother and thought the art was great, but that's about all I remember. It's been on my 'to read' list forever and I don't know if I ever get to reading it so don't worry about spoiling it for me a bit. You don't have to answer all the questions of course.
