quick note here, why do people explain the plot? there is a synopsis for every anime. anyways, kyo kara maoh is actually really entertaining. I mean it has some strong yuri going on in some places but it isnt deep, its more of a relaxed kind of feel good anime, but with enough drama and plot to keep you interested all the way through. I mean im not one for the whole gay thing(yuri) cause i mean frankly, i dont want to watch a bunch of gay anime characters. so if you like zombies and you like boobs and half naked women then this is probably the anime for you. As if zombies weren't popular enough, the creator even added in some boobs for everyone. This is a pretty well established anime. A young kid who is half human,half demon takes control of the strongest demon clan(the clan he belongs to) and proves to be much more different than the previous rulers. Thanks to his human side. And so not to give anything away, the story develops from there and deals with the tasks of uniting humans and demons. The anime is well animated, has a easy simple plot to follow and entertaining as hell. Pretty good character development as well if you like that kind of stuff from your anime. This is an amazing anime. It involves the use of good vs evil and the grey areas in between. It has wonderful characters, each one with a personality you can relate too and/or admire. The antagonist shogo, is even someone i consider amazing, because i can understand him. In fact, the show may even make you wonder who the real antagonist is. this is an anime that is pretty confusing yet has enough action, shounen, etc that makes you want to keep watching. The first episode makes no sense, but if you watch the whole thing, you will love it, trust me. I mean, maybe not love, but enjoy for sure. The characters start off not really knowing eachother and then become fast friends as they protect tokyo from monsters using magic.It also has some deep tragedy in there, worth watching out for, and is more on the darker side in some scenes. The animation is decent but overall it is pretty good and worth watching.

this is a very very simple anime. But it is loosely based off feudal japan. And i mean very loosely. I know and enjoy japanese history and this is most certainty not it. This is a wonderful historical fiction type anime set in feudal japan. The series is not too long, and nothing ever really drags on. The character development is good enough and it is very entertaining. However they could of done much more with this series, i felt that it wasn't long enough and kind of left me unsatisfied, like i wanted more. Sort of like running for miles, and getting a nice cool drink of water only to have it knocked from your hand before you have even taken half. But it is a very good anime, and something to watch for sure.

This is defiantly something to watch if you already haven't. It combines an amazing amount of story and character development that it is almost like watching a book.
