What are you hoping to do in animation? Will you be aiming for a triple A studio or something else?

Oh, yeah that's a good pivot. I am literally working on a very similar topic for a video atm. Sometimes, we get locked in on being "anime fans" and for some reason we can't fathom not watching anime or like changing up how we watch anime and all that can lead to burn out. I'm glad you are already so aware of your needs and planning on how to better suit anime to your new needs.

Yeah, I understand that process haha a tip on overcoming that is making a small goal like work on something for 30 min or an hour everyday. It helps a ton and can eventually become second nature. I have struggled on the opposite where I work on something nonstop and it literally becomes a life consuming almost crippling behavior lol moderation is key!

Oh wow, I never thought of it like that. I have a lot of favorite anime movies among series but looking it like that, it does seem a little off balanced. Hmm I'm gonna need to ponder this for longer lol

I'm not the most polished of creatives but I make due with the tools given. I would love to learn how to make some of those majestic profile images! The ones where they link to different things, oh man, that would be awesome.

Same here, played up to Disgaea 5 and the D2 game (the perfect HD2D sprites). I don't think I can ever revisit Disgaea alas after 6 and 7 looking like mobile game shovelware 😭 Poor Phantom Brave sequel...

I think story wise I can't help but love Disgaea 1 and their trio... best OG main characters! All the other stories are a bit out there/incomplete for me or had particularly annoying side characters. Disgaea 3 would have been perfect if it explored its side characters more like Master Big Star and the whole other upper grades. (Makai Kingdom is a favorite too!)

I've used Anki before, and it's an amazing resource once you get used to it. If you're looking for opinions on it as a learning resource, I'd say it's worth investing in :) And all it costs is time!

I've collected a lot of DS games over the years, some even complete with box and even one completely sealed for incredible price, so it's a lot of those. Plus a few GBA games and my Steam games... just a lot of stuff. Same goes for anime and manga really. Do you struggle with backlog?

Orb is rly good, I think it fell off a bit because of the pacing but I'm still enjoying it -w- I was so invested that I went and read parts of the manga to see what'd happen. Are you enjoying Orb?

Oh well I've not watched a lot of anime, I've been deep into Baldurs Gate III, and Helldivers 2 as my new PC arrived. My girlfriends been spending a week over so we finished DanDaDan and have been sightseeing XD
