It does what it says on the tin. This anime is weird and wonderful and I am legitimately sad to have finished this first season, of which I hope there are many. Somehow Boxxo has the most personality of any isekai protagonist, and he's only got a handful of programmed phrases. Honestly I just feel like this show has so much heart as well as a good sense of humor. The characters are all wonderful and the ride is unexpectedly enjoyable. Watching this show is very much like a walk around the block with a good friend, predictable and wonderful.

This show has been an incredible ride from start to finish. It was really fun to get introduced to Daisuke's world through Haru. I was never sure what kind of crazy gadget it would be next. The way the story keeps unraveling itself is truly something special. I love the chemistry between Daisuke and Haru, the old school detective with hunches vs the new kid with all the fancy toys who turns out to be quite capable. Once the show got settled into it's premise, it just kept hitting you with one surprise after another. This weird and wonderful show is a fun watch all

Wow, when people told me it was kind of like Zootopia but not, I was not expecting such a complex and multifaceted show. It's about Prejudice and expectation, privilege and responsibility, but most of all this show talks about our human "instincts" through this wonderful metaphor where the characters are all literal animals. Also this show goes wat further than I even considered, even having a black market where herbivores are sold to be eaten by carnivores. I would have rated this show higher, but I kind of feel like we emotionally ended in exactly the same place we started. I can not wait to

Irina the Vampire Cosmonaut is a wonderful and weird romo through the space race shortly following the cold war. Vampires are an oppressed people group in the UZSR and one is used to test their new rocket that supposedly can make it to space. The ending is heartwarming and a great example of how those with privilege are often the ones who have to push society forward by leveraging that privilege. Without Lev, Irina would have been disposed of and forgotten about, but because of him, she gets to remain in the space program and she gets remembered for her first ever space flight. As

Vinland Saga Season 2

Where I feel like the first season lost me a little towards the end, the ending of the second season pulled everything together so beautifully. The truth is that as a society we glorify violence, and the easiest and hardest solution is to decide to stop doing it. Now, this only works in the anime because people with political/military power see the efforts Thorfinn makes and chooses to respect that choice. All in all this series is a beautiful example of how the violence we beget destroys us in the end, as well as giving us the hope that things don't always have to be

A slow burn about how the violence we beget destroys us in the end. This season is about a kid who goes off to war only to realize he has become the exact thing he was training to destroy. For most of the season it's a misguided revenge quest, and the last few episodes become something that feels very much like game of thrones. All in all it was very good, just not to my taste, idk if it really needed all 24 episodes to say what it wanted to say. It was a little strange that we went from such a strong focus on

This show isn't a Kubrick film, and it isn't trying to be. Turn your brain off, have fun, and and enjoy. The premise for Fumizuki Academy is really fun, and the test wars are all so enjoyable to watch. The humor is often too pervy for my taste, but this show just has so much heart that I love it anyway. As far as LGBTQ+ representation goes, it was huge for me in high school to see some of these characters, but it also admittedly misses the mark at times. Even with all it's flaws, this is a show that I still love coming back
