I'm a huge anime fan, and spend majority of my free time on Crunchyroll. I also tend to be very critical of the anime I watch, even my favorite anime. I think that no anime is perfect, and shouldn't be treated as such if we want to improve the medium. Accepting mediocrity is UNACCEPTABLE! (Sorry if that seems kinda pushy, I'm actually super chill, I promise).

Ah, okay. Yeah; I liked Kirino because - like you said; she at least CARED for people, even if she tried not to really show it ( tsunnnnn ) but that's sorta her trying to close herself off I guess, really. She cared about what people thought of her and didn't want people to reject her.

So I saw your review for Umaru (and I saw you've also seen Oreimo, idk how recently) and since me and a friend both like Kirino but the friend hated Umaru I decided to ask; is Kirino more tolerable in your opinion, as well? I've heard so many mixed opinions it's like 'ahhh what is going ON' ><;
Damn i thought the soundtrack was pretty amazing, regarless i'm pleased to hear that you're enjoying it so far. The show at first was pretty whacky and chaotic for me (i first watched the OVAs) but i came to love it as it progess.
Oh by the way you should check out the anime called Kyousougiga if you're interested. It's a really underrated series and i have a feeling it's right up your alley. ;)
I also need to re-read it since there was a lot of info in the last few chapters that was pretty overwhelming for me.
Lol i normally dislike the character archetypes like Hisoka (ex : Orochimaru ) but he was just too awesome for me to hate, even though he has like zero developpement and we know absolutely nothing about him xD
Yeah i knew, you don't hear stuff like that very often.
I can sorta understand why Togashi takes so many breaks, the man is loaded lol.

I avoided the series for years thinking it was generic, childish etc... but boy was i wrong, i still get a little pissed just thinking about it because i almost missed out on a great series >_<
One of my favorite aspect about it is probably Gon's developpement, i never expected such a behavior from that innocent kid (that i was even calling a "Goku rip-off" at first) during the Chimera Ant arc.
As of right now, he's my favorite shonen MC.
Yeah, i didn't think too much of the show at first because of how slow it was.
I think the part where i could personally start saying "man i love this show" was during the ending of the Heavens Arena arc. ( the Gon vs Hisoka fight just sold it for me)
I just want the author to return so he can finish this masterpiece already, i didn't buy all these volumes for it to be an incomplete series goddammit! xD
She seems to have soften up her attitude a little thanks to having a kouhai (Kirie) in episode 3. Let's hope it continues for the remainder of the series lol.
