I have so much feeling for it being an ROTK story (Romance of the Three Kingdoms). Chan Mou took on Luo Guanzhong himself, when he rewrote and recreated this most beloved, long and interesting, part of Chinese history in his manhua. Chan Mou’s writing of Three Kingdoms in The Ravages of Time is absolutely BRILLIANT !!!!!!

It is wise to learn more about the Three Kingdoms and people of that time whether with Dynasty ... Warriors, ROTK (TV Series), The Novel, an ROTK background video, or reading about ROTK online. The Three Kingdoms is a period during the late Han dynasty in China of massive internal conflicts and war between warlords.

The tide of this era in the Ravages of Time goes into motion as Yuan Shao and the Coalition battles Dong Zhuo and his forces. The Ravages of Time while based on ROTK has also very original content and characters. It opens with Liaoyuan Huo, leader of the Handicapped Warriors, an assassin group. The assassin group working for Sima Yi destroys Xu Lin, the number 1 strategist in Dong Zhuo’s army. Lu Bu swears revenge on the person who killed his friend Xu Lin. Liaoyuan Huo is the raging storm. His fighting strength to take on Lu Bu, they would be classified as monsters.

By the character visions, you really understand much more to the characters and there are more than meets the eyes. To Yuan Shao, people are trodding into the mire because Dong Zhuo wrecked the country. Dong Zhuo’s ideology is supremely good. Traitor? What is a traitor? The country is weak because of high-position corrupt officials building up power for themselves. To cleanse them is to save the country. Dong Zhuo is precisely who we need, I like this Dong Zhuo and root for him. Dong Zhuo has historically been a treacherous man that wants to take everything for himself. While following his character in history, he surfaces more than just power and ambition here. Dong Zhuo brings a deep profound stance to defending why the world needs him.

Lu Bu I thought I knew the person Lu Bu was. I am well understood Lu Bu was ambitious and a capricious man, greed and power buys him. In the Ravages of Time, it’s not enough to know the enemy cause you don’t know the enemy. Lu Bu is the hype and upcoming. As the audience, we are not ready for this Lu Bu. Lu Bu is ready to kill and leaves nothing undone. Rumors of this legend is face him and be killed. That’s what we know. Rumors have not said about Lu Bu, the amounts of feints in him in a mystery. The strongest warrior with a swing of his halberd and unpredictable intellect makes him so fearsome. He is a champion that can back it.
From the facts of history, I can't imagine how it would be to see Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu's inevitable downfall in the Ravages of Time.

Hua Xiong was a strong warrior loyal to Dong Zhuo. The human nature of Lu Bu, Hua Xiong never gave this thought in the ROTK novels. We know what he really feels in the Ravages of Time. Dong Zhuo, I think you're nurturing a snake in your bosom. (Which is different from ROTK, Dong Zhuo here knows about Lu Bu BTW LOL) Wen Chou, another character was really expanded on and his heroic fight to charge and break the siege for Yuan Shao when surrounded and fight Lu Bu (which never happened in ROTK).

The story is so amazing and the donghua adapted the first Dong Zhuo/Lu Bu section immaculately. The 3D art designs and animation are so crisp, perfect epic badass looking, and cinematically beautiful. Whoever complaining, has obviously not seen the prototype promotional video LOL The action fights and politics are definitely a win.

The opening has taken me aback by just how epic it is, the song with the choice of clips. The ending is also a fantastic song. I LOVE THE VOICE ACTING especially Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo.

The Ravages of Time is in the same lore with ROTK. The Ravages of Time was done for you people who want to experience ROTK from the start again.

We need more people seeing this MASTERPIECE !!!!!! THE DONGHUA IS ALSO EPIC TO WATCH !!!!!!!! READ THE MANHUA AND SUPPORT CHAN MOU !!!!!!!!

Scatter! 1 Robo vs. all, a big and bulky simplistic giant robo design. It strictly hot-bloodedly uses the FULL POWER of the ROBOT all charged up, smashing a hole into enemy robot with its giant hand, and pummeling into explosions. I know of another full anime like this called Gaiking (2005) remake, I call it the morale booster.

There are other anime that fall in line with the super robot genre, but are different as they're more about looking brutal and crosses into mecha when it validates damage more than actual hot-blooded robo strength.

Atranger is odd looking like a lion, for real?, but you can see, ... it's a fight until the enduring end for the pilot/robot and enemy. To hell with backing down even if hurt. To run is something you can't ever come back from. Gather it with Akira Kushida's music, it is always hot admiration.

The Gattai is very simple, but hey it works to make the robo bulkier or arm it with weapons and shield.

I like the plot so far, it's very good for 13 minutes. The viewership is low, please if you like this anime, give it some positive feedback.

BEST CHINESE JAPANESE COLLABORATION. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!! Watch it in Japanese, the voice acting is fantastic and the names are cool ! Noi is a cool MC name and Cass is a cute girl name. I used to know a person in an online game called Cass, who was a girl IRL and played as a young sexy guy cause Cass would also be a sexy soft name for a pretty boy. This review would not be much an informational kind, because the LESS YOU KNOW THE BETTER !!!

Just ignore the theme and what the name of the anime/donghua is. I started without even ... knowing what I watching. IT PAID OFF !!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH GOT THE BIGGEST REWARD. Noi wants to protect his world, HIS REALITY. That's all I'm gonna say. Anyways, I haven't seen such a good story in like forever!

ALL THE GIRLS ARE PRETTY !!! Cass is Cute and Innocent. Motis is Beautiful. Chinnou is Sexy. The animation is a little shoddy, but the art and designs are top tier! The Opening kicks ass and the ending of it where Noi and the monster go against each other! Me being influenced by the opening XD This show was FIRE !!!

A man and woman are no good killers.

Imagine being paired with this woman. She looks kawaii, an adaptable partner, except something seemingly miniscule like killing a baby divided the killers.

Both are not normal being in this kind of field, but it's pretty obvious the man wanted an obedient bitch, and the woman needs copium.

Silent film, but a subtitle expressed the man would knock the woman up if she wanted a baby so bad.

The man tries to snatch that baby and the woman goes yandere and tries to break his neck LMAO

... The fight is like Loid vs. Yor.

The man must not know how strong the woman is if he thinks he can do things by force.

The woman also did not think it through if she thinks she could win against the man too.

Happened so seriously that it was already over. All for no reward.

It remains a cutscene right now, but if the whole movie is as good as this trailer, it earns a 10.

The black hazy atmosphere is an aethestic you don't see a lot in anime.

Both sides cautiously come near. They head straight for the other.

Realm high in the clouds on spiritual ground where gods get disintegrated.

... The way there was no fear, just life or death, albeit by killing kinda messed up religiously.

The dark instrumental looms in the air, a good short fight scene, and in what appears for Zan to reach the ascent.

Zan has that very evil look.

Season 2 took my order where I was rewarded to my liking. MC Hao Yuan still as cool as he is.

When Hao gets those off road interference, he tries to be nice about it and gives them a soft verbal let me through please before he would just assault them out of the way.

The fights and moves are far good just like it was in Season 1, with more martial arts, guns, and assault rifles. While skinny and not having muscular arms, I like the part MC uses an arm choke to finish into an elbow knockout. (Anime should learn from this. Regular fights by ... people would still be using the chokehold to keep punching in the face that we should see more chokes used in fights and not just as a power flex from macho stereotypes.)

There were way less focus on the women this season unless they must be there which is great. Focusing back to the guys, the cool characters, in the show is the right decision.

The one last guy Peng from the team who was kicked out for insubordination makes it back.

Peng never dumped the mission as previously thought, Darrick got to him first in torture pain when he went off on his own.

Crazy a single failed mission costs losing the goal, glory, and team. When Peng know what happened to the mission afterwards, he haunted by it even as he brings on the gangsters and prostitutes.

Puppet sniper cyborg with the hoodie who I will not name is someone they know. Even if that clearly separates him from an enemy, I like how scummy the enemy Darrick turned the puppet guy into his puppet! Blocked the only human thing left of him to be a blackmail puppet. Good character, put in the hotspot as much as Peng and Darrick, our unmasculinized star villain.

This season is revenge phase, The Bureau/Hao vs. Darrick. Revenge on each other, crashing each other's bash. Darrick set up his masked terrorist army nicely. The enemy virus plot is establishing a cool ambitious story.

Next season, I'll like to see we get an expansion on the true face of the superpowers and who's the mystery force behind Darrick. Sign for Season 3!

I got pleasant words. Zuihou de Zhaohuan Shi/The Last Summoner has a whole lot of variety from a lot of inspiration. The author really knew what was good and how to put it in his own work.

Starts basically, the Summoner goes from meeting his spirit, pet, and girl in the block, to getting hunted together, to battling in a trial but there is so much more to the description of this story that I'd be oversimplifying the fun stuff and this is how every episode watching the donghua is different and interesting.

It gets rapidly good, brutal headshot enemies that kills, and episode 9 ... of Season 1, you meet sexy Bonnie also!

The characters, like the Maid guy with mecha and the funny also moe girl spirit Dora, the jokes pointing to the world like Mexican Cartel, and the allusions to the entertainment medium are hard to miss.

I brought up variety, because there really is a lot of variety to enjoy. 10/10

My favorite case with Akechi Kengo. I recommend anyone who want to see the masterpiece Kindaichi is to watch this episode.

It tells of a case that happen in Akechi's past. I always remember this case as it goes beyond a good case,

The OST that plays was on spot as Akechi says to Kobayashi before anything or anyone else, he is Akechi Kengo.

His morality of justice that was paired with the OST moves me so much. Return justice by going after the enablers.

Akechi helped the bookstore lady and the delinquent when nothing would be done, the two people that needed help and ... justice. It was really sweet,

Akechi sees to it that the delinquent understands what he's done and brings him to the bookstore lady. The delinquent cries to make it up to her.

I love the bookstore lady who was owed the justice finally gets it, an admission of wrong and for forgiveness from the delinquent and she accepts to work with him to rebuild the store together.

It was so nice to see justice come out of this for everyone, I would like to see the bookstore lady and delinquent's smiles together.

Akechi's last line on Kindaichi was good ending!

Imbalance. guys are cool, but women really suck. MC is cool.

The donghua had made some good effort in the action sequences with the guns usage and physical combat that I really liked.

When MC shot his brotherhood teammate that was held hostage at gunpoint, I got Detective Conan Fourteenth Target vibes where I learnt, you shoot the hostage to draw the perp away from the hostage.

MC timed the shot and the teammate was able to about face with MC and take them all down before teammate went down as well. MC fights a rage battle that is dealt.

Like unfortunately, MC lost all the guys on the ... team early on in that first mission. MC had some good leadership and jokes with the team. He left alone after surviving to take care of teammate's sister. She is alright actually, has some real guts.

Again the first few episodes were amazing, epic drills and team mission but then afterwards it banked so much to the annoying pink haired woman, literally a petulant child, it dropped the quality.

Literally loooooool when the guy who was holding the pink girl hostage gun point to head, FIRED while she was still blabbing cause she was blabbing so much, yeah uh huh shut up. FIRE.

but MC superpower soldiered her out. The other love interest woman to stay alive is also just another stupid serious woman. Even if you don't mind them, they being here still drops the quality.

My expectation in Season 2 is now that action stay as good, the women stay away, and MC and enemy, he return along with his puppet gun lackey, transform more hardcore. Dues are still owed.

Fanren is back; this studio should make all the 3D Chinese Donghua; always excellent quality! The introduction of the Devil arc was good; there was a temporary end to this arc when the Devil sect Prince pulled out after completing his siege; I'm sure they will continue the Devil sect and his revenge on Han Li in Part 2, but the winner for me in this season is the Blood Demon Arc. It was good when Han Li allied with the Meng brothers, but once after he calls for reinforcements, and the Seniors make their entrance, the battles were AMAZING! Episode 21 guys!
