Kaleido Star (Anime) add
I really enjoy anime about characters with a passion for something, resulting in them pursuing and then excelling at what they love. That said, that's what makes Kaleido Star an inspiring anime. It's fun, it's funny, it portrays the important of working hard toward what you want and believing in yourself. Nothing in life comes easy, not even what you're good at. This is one of my favorite animes, and I've rewatched it. It's lighthearted, exciting, and you find yourself rooting for the characters.

If you like sports anime, or stories about the underdog, then you'll like this. It's just cute and will make you ...

Chihayafuru (Anime) add
Chihayafuru manages to make a card game one of the most exciting things you've learned about and watched. My favorite thing about this anime is watching the art of Karuta unfold in front of me.

My second favorite thing about this anime is watching the characters' passion for karuta grow. It's an inspiring story about following your dreams, and it's not cliche at all, despite that being one of the most cliche tropes in story-telling.

There's a hint of a love triangle, but it doesn't dominate the story. The story is about one girl excelling at what she loves. Chihayafuru is an outstanding, endearing, and heartwarming ...

Juu Ou Sei (Anime) add
I understand that a lot of people really enjoyed Jyu Oh Sei; however my experience with the short anime was dreadful. It was a complicated story crammed into eleven episodes. The story covered a long amount of time and was unable to appropriately develop its characters or make their actions and thoughts believable.

The biggest problem I had with the show was the romance. It was unnecessary and unrealistic. There was no relationship--it felt like instant love and it was hard to wrap my head around.

The anime started off promising, but quickly degenerated. The relationships between the characters were cheesy, the pacing was confusing, ...

It's hard to find a nice romantic anime that isn't riddled with outrageous love triangles, harems, and cheesy relationship obstacles. Itazura na Kiss brings a rare story to the genre of rom-com anime. Paradoxically, it's a realistic portrayal of how romantic relationships progress and develop in real life.

I adore this anime. I love romantic comedies, and I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that I've watched most of the shoujo anime that there is to watch, but Itazura na Kiss stands heads above the rest just because it's realistic and endearing.

It's not overly sappy or cheesy, but it's beautifully romantic. There's not a frustrating ending ...

Sure, the animation is outdated and the characters are pretty ugly. But Hajime no Ippo is awesome. It reigns supreme among my favorite anime. If you love sports anime, stories where the underdog comes out on top, hilarious characters, tension packed action, and have a crude sense of humor then you'll love Hajime no Ippo. And if you don't love even half of those things, then you'll still probably like it at least a little.

If you enjoy learning about, or watching boxing then you'll like it, because it's realistic in its portrayal of the sport. Of course, it's dramatized where the action is concerned, ...

Beelzebub (Anime) add
Beelzebub is hilarious. Don't come for the intricate story and complex characters, because you aren't going to find them. If you like straight up Shounen protags, and ridiculous power-ups, then stay and watch. Somewhere near the end the plot gets a little convoluted, but it's worth it just for the laughter. I love this anime. It was a memorable watch.

Bakuman. (Anime) add
Bakuman is an inspiring anime. Its characters are inspiring, the story is inspiring, the amount of effort and passion that is displayed by the characters for what they love is absolutely inspiring. After I watched this anime for the first time I wanted to sit down and write a novel because I felt like I could do anything.

The story has so many endearing layers, and you'll find yourself wrapped up in the lives of every single character. It'll suck you in from the first episode and won't let you go until you've consumed the whole thing. There is nothing to dislike about this anime. ...

Arakawa Under the Bridge is strange. It is many things, but strangeness is definitely one of its more prominent characteristics. Despite being quirky, it's not at all absurd. It's unique, the story is creative, the characters are lovable, and you'll definitely want more.

I love this anime because it's hilarious and endearing. It's a breath of fresh air, where your anime experience is concerned. You might find yourself wondering where the story is going, but you won't mind just being along for the ride until you get there.

Blue Exorcist doesn't bring anything unique or creative to the table as far as story is concerned. It's somewhat cliche, but it's fairly well done. The characters are memorable, the story and action is intense, the art is awesome, and all of these things make up for what it lacks in story, which really isn't much. It'll keep you entertained, even if it does end somewhat abruptly, and though you might find yourself not being entirely satisfied, you won't regret that you watched it.

It's one of my favorite animes just because it's fun. I'm not fond of it's hastily put together ending, but overall I ...

Air Gear (Anime) add
Air Gear is a formulaic, typical Shounen anime. The concept is creative, and if you like hotheaded protagonists who keep showing everyone up, then you'll enjoy it. It's a sports anime with plenty of fan service, but the story is still enjoyable. It'll keep you entertained, it's full of action and comedy, and you find yourself rooting on the main character.

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of pantyshots and other forms of fanservice, but I was able to look past it for the sake of the story. It was interesting and kept me entertained. Air Gear is not a show for people ...
