Bakuman is an inspiring anime. Its characters are inspiring, the story is inspiring, the amount of effort and passion that is displayed by the characters for what they love is absolutely inspiring. After I watched this anime for the first time I wanted to sit down and write a novel because I felt like I could do anything.

The story has so many endearing layers, and you'll find yourself wrapped up in the lives of every single character. It'll suck you in from the first episode and won't let you go until you've consumed the whole thing. There is nothing to dislike about this anime. It's realistic in its portrayal of following your dreams, it makes clear the amount of sweat, blood, and tears that is required to get where you want to be in life, and it makes you want to just get out there and DO it.

Bakuman is a work of art.
