Yes maam :D Changed the page and lists look to the modern style etc. Also became a supporter, because why not... when I watch almost every day.
Thanks for the visit. I hope you are doing ok!
Congratulations on the internship! I think I have an existential crisis too, not sure where I belong or where should I go. Or maybe this is mid-life crisis? Hell, I don't know xD I feel like a small prisoner in my own head quite often.
Got myself that Resident Evil 4 remake and spent weekend with it, other than that just FFXIV, work, Murakami book and pancakes with maple syrup xD
No plans for the rest of the life, lol.
Yeah, I guess we can say that. At first it was my great way to escape reality, like books. But in the end it become addictive and I sticked with it. Had consoles, handhelds and multiple PCs over the years. I don't even play to be the best, on top of any leaderboards, I play to experience, either great stories, visuals, locations, mystery, cooperation with people etc.
Haha, I wouldn't call two dentist visits and 3rd incoming a great year, but I guess it's true, I defeated some kind of anxiety with this and improving my life a bit.
Yeah, I'm trying to take care of myself. Got some more money saved and another dentist fun planned for this month xD
I limited my sugar intake and dropped few kilos. Also thinking hard about changing jobs, to something similar, but in a better place :D
Yes, almost 1000 and this is only on Steam. I also had some consoles in the past + all those free Epic Store games (150+) + GOG (200+) + EA app (maybe 30). Also had a lot of big old boxes, but now only few, the most treasured remained and all else is digital...
Yup, guitar is relaxing for me, even if I struggle to play anything fully :P Games should also be fun, if it is that frustrating, why not look for something more chill? xD Well, ok, I felt sometimes similar during my 200h of Elden Ring, but finished everything regardless, so :D Maybe we just like to suffer.
I have finished Persona 5 during the free time, it is indeed amazing. Spent there like 140h and could more. Now I'm waiting for another free week, in march between 20-24 and perhaps the release of System Shock. They said it would come out in march, so maybe, somehow, with a dose of luck, my free time will sync with this?
Also I had some nice time with first Silent Hill and Parasite Eve on PSX emulator (: Old graphics really don't bother me at all.
There is a game called Figment, currently free on Steam, maybe you will like it.
Other than that I have started reading Murakami books, first I got is "Men Without Women", a set of short stories with a deeper meaning. I like the style of this, it is easy to read, full of details, but also a bit sad. WELL, to be fair, I fit right in, flying solo at my age and all... Perhaps I will learn something from this.
Take care and have a great day!
My week off is basically games, cocoa, chocolates, some anime and going out to wonder around the area, but the weather is kinda meh for that. I play mostly Persona 5 Royal (close to finish) and MechWarrior 5 (just fooling around).
There is also a tiny progress in my guitar learning. Well, at least I have fun with it, I don't need to play in a band or something :P
That is true. Imagine a box with 20 chocolates at a price of like 30€ or 40$ or I don't know, 5000 yen? Anyway, the most expensive and probably the most amazing set I've tried in my little life. No regrets! Also this week I'm off work as I've mentioned, so double win.
I hope you're good? Do you have a crush you gave a chocolate to or maybe received some? :D
Of course :D The funny thing is, one girl from work gave me a voucher for some fancy hand-made chocolate place (for the birthday xD) and my order came... today xD But yeah I probably never had something this good in my life before.
Can't say that I feel much different after all those years. I'm doing exactly the same things as when I was 20yo. Just now job is a mandatory addon that takes away more time and... well, I'm less happy xD The more I learn and discover/experience, the more "heavy" existence becomes. Not to mention that some people in my life already died, including a nice guy from work (32yo), each time I feel like a piece of me is torn away.
Anyway, yes, watching anime, reading books (sorry, not much manga around me :P) and games is a way to go. I don't care about parties or stuff like that. Making friends is problematic because of it. Imagine looking for gf xD 37yo, hobbies? Games, anime, vibing to all kinds of music. This answer would pass in high school maybe, not now :D
My next week is off and guess what... I'm gonna play MechWarrior 5 or something xD
As for your life, start anything you like, just to see how it goes, then switch/change etc. You won't know what to pick if you never tried various different approches. Yes, yes, easy to say xD

Still, worth it.
Life is rough :D Maybe, just maaaaaaybe I will get something in august, not sure.
How about you?
