You don't have to buy me melon ice to make me happy; just remind me it exists. Sometimes my life makes me forget even if it's in front of my face. I treat friends when given the chance only because I have a problem with my own unshared happiness. Which is why I made this account.


As a child I held an erroneous hierarchy of media where film was superior to text: it was near-impossible to write down the face of the girl I love, and I always suspected that the author never imagined a vision nor heard a voice as beautiful as I had conjured from the same words. I believed that authors should not take credit for a novel interpretation of their work that they never intended originally. I rejoiced on the assumption that Godard wanted to flaunt the triumph of film over text in scenes where he shows someone reading aloud off a book, as if mocking the act of reading itself. While I still hold remnants of this misguided "the closer it is to a complete communication of conscious experience, the better the art" belief, experiencing the novel House of Leaves convinced me that one cannot separate form from content, the message from the medium. I still dream of creating great art. Sci-fi. But that dream is dormant ("simply not dead") for now, dampened by disillusionment and discouragement. I wanted to conceptualize a novel technology just for the sake of some great story, and decided that I might as well make the technology come true. Whatever happens, I can always remain as a humble worshiper as I've long accepted it to be my most likely fate.

I am currently in a near-nihilist phase where instead of seeking inspiration, I expose my mind to thoughtless hedonism, defenseless, vulnerable, welcoming to all fetishized objects that could stir an obsession. I wish to be possessed by a song--even through forcible repetition.


My academic background is on electrical engineering and computer sciences, and I am currently working on self-driving cars. I am passionate about the Human experience and its expression through Art in any form.
