This is just my personal preference of the show and does contain spoilers.

Noragami is a story of a God named Yato, nicknamed the God of Calamity (which still no one knows why), who is trying to build his own shrine and become the most powerful God ever so that people will recognize him. There's only one problem. His regalia, which are souls of the dead brought back to life to be used as a weapon for a God, all hate him, and he has no money to build a shrine because no one believes in him. The only way he can get money is if ... people call him to do a job for them, basically praying to him while paying him at the same time.

While looking for his cat named Milord, he walks into the middle of a street, and at that moment, a girl named Hiyori who is walking with her friends, calls out to him to watch out for the truck. Thing about Gods is that nobody can see them besides other Gods and regalia. The girl, not caring about the consequences, runs into the middle of the street and pushes Yato away, ultimately being struck by the truck and killed on impact, or is she? She starts yelling at Yato about how he should be more careful, but she is shocked to find out she has a tail and her body is laying in the middle of the street where she was hit. No one can even see Hiyori outside of her body. Yato explains that she is not living nor is she dead. He further explains that she is a living Phantom, which is very uncommon considering all Phantoms do not retain their human forms unless they are possessed by hatred and transformed into a monster, therefore to be struck down by a God and never exist again since they are already dead. Even I am not sure of all the details, as this can get confusing at points, but this is the main jest of it. When Hiyori returns to her body (which was laying in a hospital bed), Yato visits her, very creepily under her covers, and agrees to help her return to her body. Due to Hiyori's "condition" and frequent interaction with Yato, she tends to feel very sleepy and "slip" out of her body.

Yato is still short a regalia since all his tend to leave him due to him being a laughing stock of the Gods and poor. One night, a Phantom attacks him and Hiyori, and Yato has no weapon to attack with to defend himself against the monster. In the distance, he notices a small phantom alone and lost, and calls it to use as his regalia. He names the regalia Yuki, his human form named Yukine. Yato and Yukine defeat the phantom, but this is not love at first site. Yukine hates Yato for all the reasons the other regalia hated Yato. Yato can feel Yukine's pain physically, since a God and regalia share a mind. Yukine goes through everything the average teenager goes through, but he doesn't make any right choices. Even when Hiyori tries to calm him down and teach him what is right and was is wrong, he ultimately disobeys everyone, to the point where he blights Yato and nearly kills him. What is blight you ask? Blight is where a God's skin becomes infected, turning a purple like color, all due to the sadness and pain of one's regalia. Yukine almost turns into a Phantom himself, but with the help of other Gods regalia (Yato's allies), he is cured, which segways to my next point.

Just because all Gods help each other at some point doesn't mean that they want to kill each other. All Gods are usually friends, except one God, named Bishamon. Bishamon seeks revenge against Yato for killing her regalia centuries ago. She swears that she will do so to avenge their death. The latter half of Noragami goes onto showing how this happens and how Yukine and Yato become friends after the whole blight and Phantom incident.

Overall, I give Noragami a 9.5/10, the other .5 being left out because of the artwork, where some scenes they don't even have a face and it is poorly drawn. Noragami brings out all the aspects I like of anime: weapons, comedy and seriousness all in one along with character development, especially how Yukine goes from Yato's regalia to friend by overcoming all the obstacles he faces. Yato is still on a journey to build a shrine and be recognized as an all-powerful God, but will he do so?

So, Dragonball Z has always been something that everyone has loved whether you're an anime fan or not. But, do the movies hold up as well as the TV Show did? I recently watched Dragonball Z-Cooler's Revenge, and thought why not write a review on it. Basically the movie is short and simplistic (which kind of disappointed me a lot).

Story- (7/10) As I said before, the story is simplistic. To tell the truth, there are not even 10 characters in this movie. And the main character, which we all know is Goku, is hurt half the movie. So, yeah, that was kind of disappointing.

Art- (7/10) ... Dragonball Z art is nothing really special (but today the art is really good). This movie was made back in the early 90s, so the art doesn't hold up as well. But, if you are a true Dragonball Z fan, you'll enjoy this movie.

Sound- (8/10) The sound for this movie was very good. I'm still wondering why they use heavy rock for the U.S. version of this movie. To me, it sounds better than the Japanese 2.0 mono. But if you don't like the 2.0 mono, there is also a Japanese 5.1 stereo and also English 5.1 stereo. (I know these are the tracks on the DVD's, not sure about the Blu-Ray's though)

Character- (8/10) It's Dragonball Z. C'mon. They're all the same characters we know and love. But there is one character that did an amazing job. And that is Cooler. Andrew Chandler (who is Cooler), does an amazing job playing this role. I'm surprised he isn't in more anime, or voice over casts for that matter. Dude did an amazing job.

Enjoyment- (8/10) Truth be told, being a Dragonball Z fan, I love anything from the franchise. But, if I have to look at this from a serious perspective, it's not all that great.

Overall- (7/10) Bottomline, this movie is good. Not great, but just good. If you like Dragonball Z, go watch this movie. Even buy it on DVD. It's like 4 bucks for the original release. Even if you don't like DBZ, this is a good movie to watch.

Bleach: Hell Verse, where should I start? For starters, this is the best Bleach movie ever. It has the most action, and the story unfolds really quickly. You know what's going on really quick.

Story- The story is really interesting. I'll try mot to give any spoilers. Ichigo Kurosaki must travel into Hell after his sister is captured by Sinners. Sinners are evil humans that cannot pass over into the Soul Society after they die, because they committed some kind of crime when they were alive. Along with Renji, Rukia and Uryu, he goes through Hell trying to look for his sister.

Art- The art ... really suffers at time on the DVD, but if you get the Blu-Ray, these changes should be fixed. For example, there were times where dark spots like shadows suffered, and times where the Soul Reapers clothes were like a dark dark green color, rather than pitch black. All depends on the video quality.

Sound- The sound quality is pretty fair for this movie. There was only one part during the whole movie where I had to raise the volume. Besides that, there is no reason to raise or lower the volume.

Character- I loved all the characters in the movie. Ichigo, Rukia, Renji, Uryu, and even more that I won't mention because spoilers.

Enjoyment- I really enjoyed this movie, that right now, I want to go and rematch it again. I really didn't want it to end at all. If it's because I am Bleach fan, I'll stand by it.

Overall- If you are a Bleach fan, this is a must buy movie. Even if you don't know a lot about Bleach, it's still an easy movie to get into. You'll know who most of the characters are within the first 15 minutes of the movie. Great movie, and I recommend it highly.

Angel Beats! is probably the best slice-of-life anime that has action in it. Yeah, other slice-of-life anime usually have sadness and a deeper story line, but this anime keeps it to a minimum. Main thing it has is the three most important elements that I think an anime needs, which are action, a little bit of comedy, and most importantly, a storyline. Most anime don't even tell a complete story anymore, but just like Naruto Shippuden, Angel Beats! keeps the flow of the storyline.

Story-Angel Beats! story is not complicated at all, but you do want to pay attention and not skip any episodes at all, ... or you will get lost. The anime is really funny and action packed, but you will also cry at points.

Art-1 word-Beautiful. Don't buy this anime on a DVD. Get the Blu-Ray. It might be expensive, but trust me, you won't be upset.

Sound- The sound could be much better. At time, I had to keep raising and lowering the volume every 5 minutes or so.

Character-For the most part, not all of the characters have a deep back story. Only 3 do. And those are the 3 main characters. I know I'll give away spoilers, but Otonashi, Yuri, and Hinata have the most back story. The other characters are more supporting except for Angel.

Enjoyment- I really enjoyed this anime a lot. I don't know if you guys will, but I really did. I wish they would make a second season of Angel Beats!, but, it doesn't look like it will happen at all.

Overall- Angel Beats! is a must watch. If you like slice-of-life anime and action anime, this is the perfect anime combination for you. At points you will cry, and at other points you will want, or hate most characters. But most importantly, you will love the action that Angel Beats! has to offfer.

Here we go. Probably the best part of the Baka and Test series. The OVA's. Usually, I like the series better than the OVA's, but in this case, it's the other way around. The OVA series takes place between Season 1 and Season 2. They are funny, and you will probably enjoy them more than the series. I couldn't stop laughing when I watched them. Especially the dub. The dub is good, except for a few character's voice I don't like. Bu the way that they act out, is really oustanding. I didn't groan while watching them. Overall, they are great, and you should give ... them a watch. There are 2 in total.

So, I finally finished Baka and Test Season 2. First off, let me say that I like the 1st season a lot better. But, the second season has a much better story line than than the first. It has a lot of comedy in it, and you will enjoy it if you like anime withe comedy and action in it. Overall, if you never seen it before, give it a watch. In my opinion, it's worth it.
