I really did not expect this series to be anything special, and I didn’t expect it to be horrible either, but it ended up just making me annoyed with each episode. I’m a little late on writing a review, but Konosuba has been one of the most enjoyable series I’ve ever watched. With season 4 coming up, I wanted to let anyone wondering if they should start the series know that they definitely should. The story isn’t something that will blow your mind, its just an isekai with some comedy mixed in. This show is definitely not bad if you're looking for a romcom, but it really is just your typical school romcom. The plot is mostly predictable and doesn’t bring anything particularly unique, aside from the interesting element of different languages being involved. However, the best aspect of the show, in my opinion, is the characters. Even though there isn't much depth to any of them, they are still enjoyable to watch. Their personalities help carry the story, especially through some of the less interesting episodes. Despite the lack of character development, their interactions with each other are fun to watch.

Honestly, I enjoyed this anime a lot more than I thought I would so much so that I watched all 12 episodes in one day. Most of the characters were easy to understand, and I got a good sense of who they were and what their intentions were. Some were introduced with flaws, while others felt a bit one dimensional at times. A few twists did catch me off guard.
