Violet Evergarden is one of the most well know animes ever released, and for a good reason. While watching you will feel many emotions, and unlike Violet you will understand them (probably). You will feel hapiness, sadness, despair for the characters and you are even most likely to cry or at least I did for the first and second watching. This is one of the most beautiful TV series in story and art.
//Story//
We are introduced to Violet Evergarden who is an ex-war veteran who grew up in military, thus because of that she has never learned to understand emotions. She meets Major Gilber who took

her in and showed her ways in military and life. After war she becomes an Auto Memory Doll whose purpose is to write letters by customers request. She becomes one, because she wants to learn what those last words, that Gilber left her with, meant. While we follow Violet, she helps as an Auto Memory Doll many people, whose lives change, because of her. She helps them change and overcome their problems and hardships. For me personally I think every mini story is very good and every character we are introduced to, are very easily likable, even if not at first sight.
//Characters//
I have mentioned earlier that every character is very likable and what I meant with that is when you are introduced to a new character you many find them at first annoying, not very interesting, but as the episode goes on you will find out what got them in to the state they are in, you discover their problems with Violet.
When Violet wakes up from sleep, after the final battle the first person she sees is Hodgins Claudia who also was a close friend of Gilber. He at first might seem little weird and not prepared to take care of her, but you will start to see, as the story progresses that he starts to be very protective of her, wants what is best for her and he was the one who let her become Auto Memory Doll and did he make a good decison.
As for the main protagonist aka Violet, she is one of my favorite characters ever. It may do with that I couldn’t and still can’t understand emotions well so I easily understood her problems. It is a true joy to see her go from person who well you probably can’t even call a person, doll may be even the right word, to become very inteligent, well mannered lady and finally see her understand what emotions mean.
//Animation/art//
Violet Evergarden is indisputably one of the best looking shows you will find in this industry, by visuals, animation and charcater desing. Every sceen, every movement, every emotion is the meaning of beauty. If someone disagrees on me with this, I don’t belive they have eyes
What I also appreciate a lot is how colorful this anime looks, you have a story where people suffer by what have the war took from them, yet this colorful world somehow makes it even more heart warming
//Synopsis//
In my opinion Violet Evergarden is one of the most beautiful shows ever released with its story and art/animation. If I had to recommend someone new to the anime genre, I would probably recommend exactly Violet Evergarden, because I truly belive that even many people who don’t watch anime normally would enjoy this show very much and would leave with their hearts touched.

When we were with my friend searching for an anime to watch, she said she wanted to re-watch this one and I wasn't really bought by it from the start, but after 3 episodes I understood what she saw in it. Many people hate on it because the main character is stupid op and other things, but I don't think it has to be another Attkack On Titan, if we look at a successful anime that aired recently named The Eminence in the Shadow, you should understand that sometimes it should be just stupid fun.

by the show called "Being X" in an alternative WW2 where magic is the most powerful weapon, but not just any human has it. God gave Tanya another live, because God wanted Tanya to belive in "Being X". He throws many hardships at Tanya to let her belive in him. She is reincarnated as a little girl who joins the military at age 8. Soon after she becomes one of the most elite and promising troop The Empire possesses.
//Characters//
Most of the characters we meet in this show don't have any insane character development and some characters don't even have much screentime, but I my opinion it is not for the worse, I even think otherwise. Tanya IS the main character ant the DRIVE for the story. She is the reason why for me this show was so entertaining. The hype scenes, the cool shit she sometimes says, that is the reason why I like this show.
The only think I really didn't like through-out the show on any characters where their names, like wth. Sure Tanya is normal, but her other name? Degurechaff? Her second hand Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakova? I understand it should mimic german names, but jesus I haven't learned any other name that Tanya and Zettuour, but that just might be, because I am stupid.
For few first episodes I didn't like Tanya, I thought she was annoying, stupid and just over-aggresive, but after episode 3/4 I understood. I understood why is it so fun seeing her being like that. She is stupidly op, but that is why it is so much fun, I don't think characters have to go through hard training and other stuff to make a good character. And it is even explained why is she so op, so I don't find any problems there. And just watching how she is single-handedly destroying enemy fronts is just so much hype I do not understand how an anime fan, can't like that.
//Animation//
To be honest, I was really suprised how good the animation is for an studio that haven't made any other popular shows. Some of the actions scenes were just stunning. Sometimes there was used CGI, actually it was used kinda a lot, but I do not think it was bad, it was probably handled way better than most shows do. Sometimes I was wandering if I am seeing an animation or CGI. Of course there were scenes where the CGI was just awful, mostly when it was used for people in the background. But other than that, it was a pleasent suprise to see such a good animation and CGI used next to each other.
//Sounds//
I do not usually talk about sounds, but OMG in this show it was so special. Every explosion, every shot, every artillery shot I was just melting with happiness and satysfaction. It really reminded me of The Eminence in the Shadow with the "I Am Atomic" line and the sound was used in it. But here it is just with almost everything and it is bringing me joy in to my life. And I even haven't touched on when the mages shoot, espceially Tanya, because that is even better. I do not think I will be satysfied by sounds more than I was by this show. Also OP and ED is just a benger added to my playlist on spotify right after I finished watching this show.
//Synopsis//
For me Saga of Tanya the Evil was just a pure joy for me to watch, I've enjoyed it so much. I probably see why, because of the main character or the premise you may not like this show, but for me it is the reason why I love this show. Mayby I enjoed it even more, because I love war themes, but I think it is just another reason why I loved this show so much. I can recommend to at least giving it a try for few episodes.

When I was recommended to watch this anime, I was kinda skeptical. But after few episodes of the first season I knew this isn't your classical romance, drama, school life anime and after watching every season, I have to say I was right from the beginning. Even tho second season is a great anime and season in its own way, I gave it a 9/10, because I really belived that the third season will be the best of those three and it will do a respectful ending and conclusion and must I say... The first and second seasons, set up everything just for the third season to make an impact on how you view your relationships and people around you. With every episode passing by I just felt something different with the characters, with every single small movement, every single face expression and body language, you can really tell how many of the characters are feeling, which especially for this anime is really important, because it is discussing relationships and emitons as a whole.
As someone who loves human behaviour, emotions and relationships, I find it really interesting. I've enjoyed this anime mayby more than I should have, but it's probably something to consider if you are not into this stuff, you may not even understand what most of the characters are saying or feeling, thus leaving you confused.
Every character has its importance in the story, everyone contributes to how the main trio behaves and Hachiman specifically, because of other characters he was forced to communicate and leave his comfort zone for the sake of others. But Yukino if probably my favorite character. You can really see and spot when she starts to change, with every season and episode you can see she changes for the better and really finds what it means to rely on others more. Yui is an interesting character who probably suffered the most. She tries to put up a front where she seems happy for the sake of others and tries to make everyone happy, even if it can hurt her. In the end I was really satisfied how things resolved and I am kinda looking forward to the OVA how will she behave. Another character I really became to like was Iroha. In the start I thought she will be a pain in the ass, but througout the the second and third season you get to see a side of her which is really charming and you can see good in her.
I don't want to talk more about this, because it would spoil thw whole fun of this series, just my tip, go watch it seriously. You will not find more detailed teardown on human behaviour, emotions and relationships

“just keep on hating me i hate myself too” - Hikigaya Hachiman
Oregairu or full name My youth romantic comedy is wrong as I expected is really a special case. I really thoguht going into this one, It's just gonna be another romance anime with plain plot. long time. Even a week after a finished Oregairu I was still thinking about it and I think that just highlights how good and special Oregairu is.
//Story//
The main protagonist Hikigaya Hachiman is a realist who prefers to be a loner, because he knows how rotten the society truly is. But his teacher places him in to a Service club whose leader is beautiful studnet by the name Yukino Yukinoshita, who is also a loner. Before too long another person joins by the name Yui Yuigahama, who has the opposite view on life than the other two. She tries to be good to everybody and find the best in everyone, but puts herself infront the others. And the three of them solves problems together that are thrown at them.
//Characters//
This part of this anime is nothing than 10/10, because the depth of which the anime goes to is incredibly, how well they develop character, they just feel very human... which is probably the most beautiful thing about it. The relationships the go through, when I look at a character it just really feel that it is thinking about something, it has thoughts, it is alive human being.
//Art/Animation//
It isn't some crazy animation Demon Slayer style, but this anime doesn't need it. I would even say it has better animation than it needs. And for a 2013 anime its style really just fits with the theme of this anime. Even tho this type of art isn't really my style, after few episodes I was really starting to like it more and more.
//Synopsis//
Oregairu is one of those anime you will think about for a long time and even after few years you wouldn't understand everything. When you combine everything together you just get almost a perfect anime, which many might not even ever come to understand.
If you are looking for something special, you should watch Oregairu.

Silent Voice is THE anime movie you should watch. Our main character Ishida Shouya was a bully at school and after an incident his reputation drops to zero and is the one being bullied. After few years he mets the girl he once bullied and tries to put undo everything he has done
For the first time I didnt really like the ending of this movie, because I hoped we could see the main duo together, but its cut after everything is solved. But after watching it again I realized this isnt just a romance movie with a sad theme, but actually was and is trying

to highlight, that bullying in schools is a real thing and it should be taken more seriously. And also that childhood and childern who dont have really understanding of emotions, themselves and other thing, may not see problem with harrasing others and potentionaly leaving the bullied child traumatised by his experience for his entire life.
What I really need to point out is the amazing art style of this movie and animations. It is really a beautiful sight and joy watching it.
Every character has their meaning and development, one thing that was kinda weird is use of characters Kazuki and Hirose. They were the leading duo next to Ishida, but after primary school they werent really used. Lastly they were used close to the ending and it was really just said that they helped with an incident, not even showing face of Hirose. But other than that Kawai (Yes, her name really is Kawai), Nagatsuka who was the reason Ishida could develop as a character and of course Nishimiya herself is the second character next to Ishida who is in the movie put through hell.
Like I mentioned with the story telling I dont have problem, I even think its brilliantly written, just would be happier if it were extended little further and that too is the reasong why I am not giving it 10/10
In synopsis, Silent Voice is beautiful story, with even more beautiful characters and art style, which in the end is going to crush your soul and mayby even change your view on how life is really fragile.

Love is a painful mystery we will probably never solve.
I don't really have much words for this OVA, just that it is really incredible how with one episode it has shown everything necessary to fall in love with this story and characters even more in another world. It shows you what every character is going through, what its like to be lost and loving the same person. If you should take a lesson from this OVA... it is never good going into a relationship just to discover yourself.
If you liked Tomoyo chapter, you will surely like this OVA too.

I think this quote really nicely sumarizes what Clannad: After Story is about. It is about a real world, where everything can go away in from day to day, where everything you have worked on can go away any second. And if you should take something from Clannad S2, its that you should treasure every moment with your loved ones.

follow him in his best and his worst. We see him from being a naive kid to a kid who is hit with a reality to a person broken to pieces with nothing to life for to a real parent. I don't really think something can be more painful than what Okazaki had to life through. I will not go in any more details for keeping this review spoiler free.
What I find really depressing is how Clannad shows that after you graduate, you will not see those people everyday, some of then you will not see mayby for a long time, because you may go a different path and some never again...
You will not have that much time on your hands like you used to have. But like in Clannad and real life its a joy to be together with the people you used to spend hundereds of hours with.
In summary Clannad is a beautifuly sad story of a man who lived through his best and worst, and I can not recommend it more.

This was unexpected. I was expecting just an OK OVA, but somehow this was something I wasnt really anticipating.
Here we have a view on Clannad if Tomoya and Tomoyo were dating and it is really nice to see them grow. Even tho is is only an OVA with one episode, every second was a joy to watch. It really was carefully thought out what would happen if those two really were dating and it is really beautiful. Clannad is about a guy named Okazaki trying to help a girl reastablishing a theater club. As the show goes on we met many other characters with their own dream and problems.
Story of Clannad is kinda simple, there is a guy helping girls with their problems, solving them. But the main focus is on creating a theater club. Through out the story we get glimpses of a story about a girl in a world where only she exists and as the shows goes on we learn more and more. I like all the characters in Clannad. We have Okazaki, who skips classes, doesnt have good grades, but episode after episode he starts to enjoy life more. The character development isnt as good as Eren from Attack On Titan or other shows, but I would be lying if I werent happy for his change for better. As for the girls goes, they are all well written characters, and for me at least the most stand up was Tomoyo. She is quite and kind, but after you see her story, everything just comes together. (OVA about Tomoya and Tomoyo love is recommended if you liked her as a character)
I would really like to give this show more than an 8, but it just doesnt deserves it. It does everything really good, but doesnt do anything beyoned my expectations. It is just a really enjoyable show.
8/10 recommended.

After I gave it a second try, Im glad I did excactly that. 5 Centimetres Per Second is another short film/stories from CoMix Wave Films and even tho it isnt as hard hitting or beautiful and complex story as the others, it does everything just right.

At first I didnt really like that it was seperated in 3 episodes, but now Im glad they did that, because we can really feel what is happening in his head in every episode and giving it a really nice flow. Personally I gave it 8. but that may be because in some ways I sympathize with the characters and the situation they are in.
In summary story is short and sweet, characters are relatable, animation is beautiful as always and the ending song is really nice. 8/10 recommended
